Yellow carpet

A post shared by Jeevan Kumar (@jeevan.grp) on

Corporation road
turns yellow carpet, as spring
 started to flourish.

Though its few ten feet
a pleasure to walk past since
summer isn’t away

While dry leaves make way
the cheerful yellow blossom
draw wither season.

Ps. The haiku is an inspiration from the photo i shot during a evening walk (in wheelchair) last week.

Enjoy the spring, jeevan. I've been fascinated with cherry blossoms off late, and I got to see a lot of them last year.

The yellow carpet sounds akin to the red carpet - welcoming!

I would be happy to walk on the yellow carpet of flowers! We have the same flowers in red too from the trees called Flames Of The Forest.

Every part of Bangalore is in Bloom with these lovely flowers. Nice haiku.

Nice contrast between yellow and black. You could have also clicked the flowers on the tree and put it here alongside :)

What a lovely flowery carpet by nature. I would love to walk by it and remind myself of the beauty in the changing seasons too. Beautiful haiku!

So beautiful. Both the haiku and the picture. I'm hoping our spring weather gets here soon. I'm so tired of being cold. :)
