Hideaway

IMG_5185
An awesome woodhouse hides amid woods, near Kodaikanal

Sorrow fills the heart
yet nothing had lost
emotions gush to freeze
at the brim to overflow.

In the flow of river
obstacles are normal
but life isn’t silky pebbles
to wash off easily ashore.

Rowing is pleasure
only if the water is calm
in the rough sea waves
each day is a challenge.

Day and night exchange
giving chance each other
to hide the emotions in dark
and smile while sunshine.

A beautiful poem. Is it yours, Jeevan?

How is your mom?

That is a nice quiet hideaway but I wouldn't want to be alone there. A very nice poem. I hope everything is well and may peace dwell in your heart.

That’s a beautiful poem, Jeevan. Life has its happiness and struggles like rowing in a rough sea. I love the little hideaway- it seems like a wonderful escape.

The photo is such a subtle set of low colors giving it an eerie feeling.
