Unspoken Still

Words cannot describe certain feelings
the pain in pursuing dreams, passion
when contemporarily rely on someone
or more than one, to even overcome a day
comes with a question can I?

There’s something to be chased always
even at dreams, and it could be anything
that anybody could decide the course
or chose the kind of attitude
from their personal vista.

Dreams come and go, but passion
keep tracking the path that flash lighted
sustaining a flow to keep track free
and a smooth ride is always on
however hard the surface rock!

Sometime it feels like nothing to lose
hopelessly life moves on, stereotype
that I always like to break
has become unchanged for a while
what decided by me not.

Like the terms and conditions that ever read
people never take time to read minds
or understand the difficult being different
as we try to outshine from the low light
their high beams brings us down.

In this poem you remind me of the title of a book I read once: Same Kind of Different As Me.

I think a lot of people would relate to this poem.

Blessings.

It is not easy to be the real person that we are. I think many of us struggle to break free.

I really enjoyed this, Jeevan. I think you're so right. So many people are only interested in the surface stuff. Or too afraid to go deeper with other people and then if they do, they judge because it's scary.

The words are so true. Life moves along so fast that people don't want to go deep, most don't even care. Sad but true, I'm afraid.

I can fully understand and relate to your impressions of life. One may believe it or not there are a few things in life which you can't change or control. On the other hand you have to make the most of what you have. It is not for nothing it is often said "life is a bundle of contradictions."

I think that sometimes we get so wrapped up in what we're doing that we don't consider what other people are going through, the struggles that they have. This is something that I am working on - whenever I see someone who is struggling - a blind woman I often see getting off the subway, trying to navigate the platform and steps - a man whose wheel chair doesn't want to fit into the elevator doorway - or someone who is clearly having a bad day. I'm trying to slow down a little and give some thought to how I would like to be treated if that were me. I think we all have struggles - some more difficult that others. But it's truly important that we all take the time to think of how others are feeling. This is a lovely poem - well expressed!
