The second stanza (thamizh) is particularly telling.<br /><br />I will use the word 'lovely' because the memories of the Tsunami are still painful for me though I only met people who had suffered from it. What stood out among some of them was the faith some of them still had on the sea: one old woman (about sixty, I'd think) had lost two grandchildren, her sons and one of her daughters-in-law, and still said that sea was her home.
