Anna Park, Yercaud

In front of anna park
There’s nothing greater to describe about this park which lies in the center place of yercaud, but it has something to welcome visitors those visit yercaud. After searching for a botanical garden indicated by the sign board, which was nothing but a horticulture center that one needs to climb steep and steps, thus we landed in Anna Park.
red salvias carpet
This is a small park like garden with some beautiful flowers and roses in varies colors are the main attracts of the park. One part of the park decorates the red salvias, which looks like red carpet spread for visitor’s sight. In between shines the marigold alike the yellow bulbs and there are dual code marigolds too with red petals around it.

We head there in evening and it was cool enough to carry away in breeze since it looks like to drizzle quickly so as the dark clouds were covering the sky. We relaxed there some time on the green carpet and it wasn’t quiet as it was nearby roadside and summer time to be, so little crowded and children making noise by enjoying the slide.
Children enjoy sliding
The slide was something has the same way to climb and slide thus the cage like ladder to climb was locked, it was amuse and disturbing to see how children balance in sliding and slip down in unable. There were many white roses, some wild and pure white in bunches. There was a pretty orange rose with an umbrella like petal partly covering the pollen and it was interesting to see and capture a bee that come across collects the nectar and flew away instantly.
bee in
The fountain in the park center splashes nicely for some time goes off immediately before me likely to go near to enjoy the sprinkle. The park also exhibits nursery with yellow, orange and red flowering plants which could grow perfectly in hills alone, disappointed me later buying few roses and marigold in which only a rose blooms at home. Even it sounds noisier around the park, the three guys uncared about what’s happening around, enjoys there deep slumber in the lawn, beneath the decorative areca palms.
colorful marigolds
While visiting the park we received a call from a cousin, and when talking casually we surprise to know that they were too in yercaud. It was a great coincident and we know they were on traveling, but never thought we would meet at some point. After having cup of coffee and by receiving them and chatting over our journeys we apart to stay there and they continued their travel to Salem.

Later we spent some time in the lake bank and looking over the pedal boats rolling their latter rounds around the dazzling fountain in center of the lake. We spent there almost it went dark and moved to room only after clouds drive us before the thunder storm struck the yercaud that night.

Striking blue marina

pretty blue sky
I saw the sky, it was blue
far away clouds gloom
thinking down, it was drizzly dawn
we head to beach
before sun settle down.

The passing clouds drop shadows
reflecting its grey shades
on the golden sand grains
thus sun strikes with rays
to squint glare sight

Coexist with two smart kids
and a brat, who isn’t bad enough
though similar to several kids
climbs the granite slabs
and rolls on the sand grains
striking marina
It was unlike a Sunday
missing those batting stumps
and lads cross-cut with catchs
except slow pace women police
and fast track bike riders.

The crowd pulling marina
was indifferent due to early eve
begins the process of mobile vendors
to arouse stoves and operate machines
for spicy bajji and sugarcane juice

That was a day end in marina
collecting shells by kids
and cradle for crabs in hot sand
thus grabbing groundnuts
spouse with Sunday for rupees 10.

Moved by silver oak grove

walk in please
The silver oak grove in yercaud is very quiet and pleasant. Lying on the way to manjakuttai viewpoint to the east of yercaud, the place is simple cool and green. I know this place already through a tourism program on TV and remind to check and while leading manjakuttai (yellow tank) I saw this place and clicked few snaps. After while return from manjakuttai – a sunrise view point which is spectacular for its early morning views and it was simple a viewpoint for us who visited it nearby noon – I wished to spent sometime in the grove and so stopped the vehicle and relaxed a while moving into the grove’s in wheels.
calm green lane
The silver oak trees are well planted with certain distances in narrow lines neatly and cut off branches for nearly bottom half of the trees. It seems like the oak trees are still under development for the pepper creepers to climb on in future. As it was noon and time for lunch, we decided to bring the food to this place as it is 5 km to yercaud and so leaving us, cousins went to collect food parcels from the hotel. Meanwhile it was time for me to examine and take a leisure ride on wheels along the stretching grove’s slowly and inhaling the cool breeze and gazing the clean and green environment.
Crown of thorns
The Crown of Thorn is everywhere, which is pretty and poisonous, protects the grove as fencing. The woody, spiny and climbing succulent shrubs growing up to 6 feet in height and leaves that are found new growth has flowers shaped in small conspicuous pair of petal-like bracts in red, which also variably pink or white. As it was raining last night, everywhere it looks green and surprisingly clean. A couple of foreign girls came across us and seeing our pet, one come close to say cute and wanting to know will she bite, asked mom blindly ‘bite’ brought blink and think sophisticated!

I observed a spider web and it was interesting to note how they climb their net and move. I never seen spider practice with web and caught up with things, as I would be away if a spider comes near me. The oak grove is pretty to walk and to capture by standing in the narrow lines that extends like no end, but we didn’t complete the whole area and don’t know how length the road leads between the grove’s that pass hardly by any vehicle.

Endhiran hype

Everywhere it’s talk about Endhiran and its post and pre-release celebrations elsewhere. I personally feel the hype created by media and Sun picture’s is causing too much expectation and irritation among people. The fans celebrate it and Endhiran is not alone a movie to receive such abundance and every superstar’s release witnesses such enthusiasm and eagerness, but it defines larger this time as it involves the larger heads in movie industry including the subject.
Even missing the common wealth games excitement in country, many TVs tuned for watching the Endhiran movie release functions worldwide. Even I felt bad to say that I missed a vivid glow evening on doordarshan, watching our nation been displaying its very big and grand venue, were India shines very brightly like Sirius in the universe. The movie has talked much before it release and there’s nothing to say more about it and keeping away the suspect on hype and expectation, peoples response are overwhelm and speechless as of ever seeing a movie like this before in Tamil cinema.

It’s quite shanker movie in my view primarily where superstar might displayed like a super doll doing everything need for his character and fans. He’s general hero of almost everyone like him for his style and simplicity, and being super hype whatever he do are expose to publicity. The director has used this hype with strong media background; the movie is published with lot of expectations and causing disturbance in many ways to public. Thought we enjoy the hyper create by the fanfare, there is something for people to carry unmindful and do crazy which I like to dismiss and think media should stop encouraging such stupid activities.

I guess people are much endures to bear the movie’s non-stop publicity, sponsor by the Sun group of channels, which sounds aloud in-between watching programs, should think a good movie no need publicity and it will reach people by some ways through themselves. Don’t we listen to our neighbors and near and dear ones who watch the movies, but even though we need little aware about the movies which caused by the media, should be responsible and care to be publishing it in interesting and not irritating anybody. Looking forward to watch the robot with little expectation on Shanker and Superstar!

Immersion depiction

Being late to write about, thought The Ganesh Chturthi was celebrated with delight everywhere to commemorate their faith and happiness just by sharing with others in whatever manner, the day was much delighted by varies cuisines and TV programs or visiting the nearby ones and looking out the procession that went on our street end Ganesh temples in evening. It wasn’t necessary for us to take the clay idol to the sea and been following the system of immersing in a bucket for last few years, got dipped into the water that evening get dissolved in morning to pour into our flower pots.
Ganesh immersion 2010
The university quarters beach, which is one we go often in palavakkal was suppose to be quiet and somehow clean, had turned louder and unclean like a market area, where things thrown everywhere to look dislike and different. There were countless water packets throughout the street that led beach thought me about the day’s weather and dry throats that quench their loud voice in immense joy and uncertain faith. The procession does sounds hard to separate it from the mortal one to the moral of the event and thus there were loudspeakers, bands and drums strikes with certain in time by time.

Each god has a vehicle in species to mention like mouse for Ganesha and peacock for Murugan but there’s one vehicle that almost used by gods in the procession was the small elephant (china yaanai), what people locally call the Tata Ace. The vehicles were kept on entering and exit the beach constantly, which is one of the three places that chosen for immersion in Chennai, where the university beach is allot for south and suburb and each vehicle hold a banner from where the idol comes. This time we couldn’t go near the beach as there were strict police protection and so we stopped nearby and watched the procession.
delighted idol step 3
The police have the reason to not alloy us particularly inside the beach road as we own back Scorpio which the enthusiastic devotees would think black as oppose color and thus could create problem. Later mom went on foot to collect some immersion pictures for me to see and the fireworks displayed in evening causes a lustrous series of fire and joy as the immersion came to close. The crowds drip as soon everything is over and shattered the remaining clay idols and else everywhere. In-between I were amaze to the glimpse of today’s rare species, the house sparrows, to crisp and intend flips their tiny wings urged me to instant fix the nest box at home, which I want to do for some time now.

Neighbor Angels

I would say that all the kids in our apartment are cute and angels, who carries away the isolation into the air every evening. The calm environment would be cleared as soon they arrive from the school and there isn’t certain for their causing noise and merry trouble. There are more than a dozen children in our apartment and keeping away the teens, everyone go around the apartment in there cycle and keep on gossiping until they leave by 6 or 6.30 to study at home.
Neighbor angels
The above three in the picture were the most active children and could be seen often playing and merrily go around in their cycle. Being similar in age group, they share there by-cycle easily and be cool always like no other responsibility, unlike their elder ones who spent less time to amusement and keep themselves distance with books and studies. Being a dog dweller, no kid will come near our home, but everyone’s excite about the dog and would call from far away, except the one who wish to come near and being younger to all, will convey me his wish by a hand movement and smile seeing me far or near.

He’s one of the darlings of the apartment and he walk pretty like a toddler walking and cute enough to capture our heart! Soundariya, Ammu and Varshini are the names of the kids in the picture and to say about them in a line: Soundariya is much talkative and kind enough to be humble in consoling her mates by giving anything to keep them from distress and cry. About ammu, she’s a cheering girl among the kids and always keeps a smile on her face and thus charming.
Fancy dress Ammu
I see her from crawling and she’s one cute being hold a post in my blog then, and wonderfully never changed in attitude of being so enchant. I amaze looking at her brother, whom I mention as darling of the apartment resembles her in every aspect and movement. He has a mysterious name called putta, which I guess it to be a nick name as he’s very little! Coming to Varshini, she is cute, brisk and bold, but teardrop for everything being silly and nothing and blame that no one let her live happily.

She’s so funny that times and I have listened her singing while playing and being at bathroom… which is against our bedroom, a block apart. She has a sweet tone and adorable while she fondle kids and convey to our pet maya. I never been close to these kids but I just know very little about them though observing their activities and manner they share with others. Evenings are the only time these kids come out and I love being outside to just watch them and wish I were among the kids being so nice and happy.

Pets, need or not?

There is a talk show (Neeya Naana) in TV on every Sunday, which takes a topic weekly and discuss. It’s one of an interesting and best known show telecast in television, and last Sunday the debate was about those who want pets and those don’t want, argued with a reason.

What made the show special was the debate that’s very similar to what is happening in our very home and those opposed to have pets expressed what’s in my mind and recorded their voice in our means. Whoever followed the show would truly agree that whatever kept against having pets causes a lot of trouble which much isn’t cared by the pet owners and their only wish is to have pets! Being a pet home come person, I hit the very trouble everyday from her (Maya) and not alone I; even my parents and visitors get disturbed from the prime reason as barking at everything. In case there is cat or lizard on the wall, we can’t stop her from barking until they are driven away and most of all she never shut her mouth if a child is visiting home. And because of this, no child in the apartment comes near our home and just takes the backyard route to reach their homes, which is adjacent to our block.

Just like everyone, I love kids and there are many kids in our apartment, and since the scare of maya we miss the joy of children at our doorstep. When maya was pup, all the children would gather at our home in amaze and to play with her and much before, the children used to visit our home to play with our visiting uncles kids.

Except very few, no one could cross our home with no bark from her when she is tied to the gate and many of them pass in hesitation whether the dog is tied or not nor gate closed. I quite realize what we cause is a state of fear and interrupting their independence to move freely in their own apartment and creating noise. I feel so bad of the situation that I couldn’t do anything to stop this cause that create by our pet, except expressing my distress and oppose to have pet in such circumstance esp. in an apartment. The bro who brought the dog home and refused to give back and not realizing the situation, ignores the opponent and I would say the people in our apartment are very nice to not to complain about the dog and the immense noise.

Just being four of us, we can’t leave the pet anywhere and it never stayed without us, esp. she needs mom and for me there isn’t a travel without both my parents and we need to think a lot before going out anywhere and the bro who is lately ignoring in taking care of the dog, adds burden to mom’s work, but he don’t want to give the pet. Sometimes I get irritate and anger because of such irresponsible people like him, where I see many in the talk show, who don’t seems like giving much importance to mans feeling and just concern at their passion and love on dogs. There were many in the show blamed the people for being scare or not liking dogs attitude. I wonder how few people could be unmindful about others feeling and only showcase their desire for dogs.

Having pets might cause happiness and give satisfaction to mind and act as a close associate, but overall have a pet isn’t a easy thing and we need to sacrifice a lot in maintaining and taking care of their needs and being sure about others security . Having pets isn’t wrong and I’m never against it since having one in home, but we need a right situation to console everyone from causing crisis. For example ‘we are not in a situation to have a pet, as my parents are not capable of handling even myself, the dog has come as a burden to them and pets are something interesting, fun and loving only when we’re enough to handle the situation and relax to spend time and take care of them.

Not every wish get exist or completed! So wish to have pets quite depends on situation and its unfavorable for a family alike us, that’s not well enough to support a life physical and someone who’s truly depend on their parents who can’t sustain much. More than thinking about myself I always think about others and never what to give any trouble to anybody, but still I can’t bear it since I’m supported by someone, which might cause trouble to them. Again I like to say, having pets isn’t wrong and those love to have pets should think a lot and discuss with others such as house members, neighbors (if those in apartment should think serious about the crisis and almost try to avoid having pets) and close relations those visit often.

I think those go for dogs aboard or the fair ones are particularly just for show and those who are totally in love and passion for dogs could easily go on anything from country dogs. I wonder how many of them still have and go for the famous country breed Rajapalaiam! This is something shows people are more interested on fair breeds, and I don’t say it is wrong, but seeing dogs as a display dolls and just for amusement alone should change and if we treat and feed dogs rightly they are our best friends and if we train properly they are our lifesavers. The intention of having dogs should be love and reliable and not causing trouble!

Servarayan hill

valley view
(click pictures for enlarge)
The Servarayan hill’s of yercaud is a feel so good place that lifts spirit in the air! The cool breezy atmosphere attracts many visitors to this peak – the highest elevation of the yercaud, which welcomes throughout the year for a quite relaxing vacation. The spacious servoroyan hill has a pleasant view of green mounds and unspoiled valleys with very fewer concrete structures to exist and it was little hazy when we arrive in morning. The uphill road has several tall trees to somewhere conceal the sky with certain long standing in history.
Servarayan temple
The Servarayan hill is noted for Servarayan temple, where the Lord Servarayan resides with his consort Kaveri inside a narrow dark cave. The cave is believed to extend up to 480 km leading Kaveri in Karnataka, which connects the Hill with River Cauvery. The cave is also believed to be explored by very few and some saints to travel fully; which is pitch dark with no ventilation and snakes movement after certain distance. The Tipu Sultan was also supposed to use this Bear cave as a hideout and secret route to escape at the time of war.
swing and roll
The Servarayan hill has couple of viewpoints to enjoy the green valley and to entertain children; there was a swing and giant wheel to cause a sense of floating in the air. I wish I was a child to enjoy the swing to the moving wind and little above the sky to wonder how cloud nine.
servarayan hill
We spent there some time breathing the fresh air and feeling the cool atmosphere and having few spicy mango slices. It was a day went without hurry and we took our own time to relief ourselves from the strong toxic and carbon emission that we unveil to. We had a brief movement around the wide peak, watching down the valley and the far away bauxite mine that looks like a land on mars.

RIP Heart Murali

The Tamil actor Idhayam Murali passed way today following heart attract, cause quite shock to everyone. It’s hard to believe the not too old soft character artiest and hero is no more. I think Murali is really much chanced to see his son’s successful debut on big screen, he shared with him recently. Thinking back his movies, he’s too good in emotional acting and set a path to those feel about their skin tone and many get inspire from him. My favorite film from him where porkalam, Idhayam, geetanjali, Kanave Kalaiyadhe, Vetri Kodi Kattu, Sundhara Travels, Puthu Vasantham...

I truly mourn to those who miss him deeply and struggle to get console from his sudden loss of life.

One of his best!

Dutch Cemetery, Pulicat

Dutch Cemetery, Pulicat
The Dutch Cemetery in Pulicat dating back to 16th century, near the market place is an interesting landmark of Dutch foot in pulicat, built in between 1606 to 1690 with 76 tombs and mausoleums. The beautifully carved tombstones with inscriptions in the Dutch language are said to have been carved in Holland and sent to India.

The sign board at the entrance says ‘the monument has been declared as National Importance and those cause damage to the monument shale be punished. The Dutch cemetery is protected by Archaeological survey of India.
Dutch Cemetery - Pulicat
The cemetery was locked by the time we visit, but the inner gate was opened and those who take risk could jump in. The two skeletons sculpture at each end of the entrance looks interesting with a designer arch inscribed in Dutch. The tombs and mausoleums inside the cemetery could be glanced almost look out from the compound wall.

History tells that the Dutch Fort Geldrian, which is opposite to the Cemetery, is the place from where Dutch trading with the East Indies.

Pulicat Lake

Back to land
Few weeks back we went to Pulicat, which is about 75kms from my home and 60kms from Chennai toward North. It was a sunny Sunday and we get ready early for the journey and the ride went through marina, kasimedu, minjue, kaattur and pulicat and the route were new to us after kasimedu – Chennai fishing harbor. The north Chennai which always seems crowded and dusty isn’t different, and the day being uncertain about the lorry strike announced to protest against the diesel price rise, the tankers that were suppose to enter harbor were parked a lot along the way and across kasimedu, turned the way into single and the road work going at some places delayed our drive to pulicat.

Pulicat is a huge lake shares the border of state Andhra Pradesh and Tamil Nadu, which is also known as Pazhaverkadu, a fishing village located within Tamil Nadu. Pulicat is the one and second largest brackish-water eco-system in India, next to Orissa’s Chilka Lake.
Lake ripple
Pulicat is also a lake bird sanctuary, and many birds migrate here overseas by winter and the famous greater flamingos are sighting here. Pulicat, having a history back to 1st century, where it was mentioned as one of the ports on the east cost of India, has the arrival of Portuguese in 15th century and followed by the Dutch.

The Dutch came here as there ships got struck on the shores, from where the coast line got the name Coramandal, still bears the evidence of the Dutch’s existence through the ruins of Fort Geldria built by the Dutch and a easy view of a Dutch Church and Cemetery. During those periods, Pulicat was known by the name pallaicatta.
Pulicat Lake view from the bridge
It was noon by the time we arrived pulicat and as soon we enter the village, many people stop our vehicle for boat ride. Keeping away those request, except a guy who talked in hope and caused to support us to the island through a boat ride, we moved across the new bridge before hire his boat. The bridge was newly built to connect the Island village with transport which were until then occurred by boats and bullock cart – when the water level is low.

The Pulicat Lake is a merging point for three major rivers and small streams, including the Buckingham canal, which is part of the lagoon on its western side. The lagoon’s water exchange with the Bay of Bengal is through an inlet channel at the north end of Sriharikota – where the Indian space rockets are launched – and out flow channel at its southern end with 200 meters wide, and the rise and depth is depend on the flow.
and passed away
There isn’t anything to see other than the Old Lighthouse, on the island village across the bridge, which is sighted from everywhere and even far away. It was a wonderful view from the bridge, with a panoramic of both sides of the lake, and besides seeing a small island away, and a boat with a box perhaps fishes passed away.

We were back to the jetty, where our boat man waited for us and the place doesn’t look clean and hygiene, and what can we expect from a place where the boats unload the fishes caught from the lake and seas. After a task we climbed the boat, which is an old one made in woods than the many colorful fiber boats. The boat man helped my parents and cousin to assist me into the boat, and without them I can’t enjoyed the ride.
Boat ride in Pulicat
The boat ride takes about 25 minutes to reach the island, where everyone suppose to visit and spent time with families and friends. The casuarinas groves in the island provides a nice shelter to everyone from the scorching sunshine and people who comes with gas stoves, cook meals and have fun with there families. While we arrive, there were a group of guys having fun with there friends by dancing, singings and making noise.

On the way we saw three pelicans swam in the lake at a certain distance to one another and it was late noon while we had our lunch that we brought from home, except the spicy prawns cooked by grandma, which were caught from the lake by then. It was very hot weather that day and we can’t head out of the casuarinas groves we land on. The boats stops by and moves, people flow in and out, the boats resound every minute and then, disturbing the peace which is the cause they say about birds keeping away from the sight.
Quiet pleasant, Pulicat
It was time to return back and the sun was there still scorching about even it was evening, forcing its rays into the soft skin. The island was green enough with grasses grown everywhere to attract and the waters are clean to see the sand inside, and a nice place to take cool bath against sunshine. The ride was very pleasant while returning back, except the hot sunshine, the blue skies and water reflects beautiful with mild ripples waves that calm the moment, but though excite to see a lonely greater flamingo flying overhead to surprise.

The boat ride took a long way while return back and the dept of water at these places are said to be more than a man’s height and we saw a fisher men just waking in the middle of the lagoon lake, with water up to his neck and he was planting sticks and nets to catch prawns. As we unload ourselves from the boat, the water level had raised down little to land us on the unclean terrain, where two women washing fishes beside.
No man island, Pulicat
It is nice to spend a day different by taking a boat and having picnic in an island and watching birds – which is something, disappoint me and I wish to visit Pulicat in winters to sight greater flamingos. I think now it would be nice if we taken a boat from the island village which has better and clean jetty or visiting the Tamil Nadu Boat House for a decent boat ride we failed to check.

This time we tried the NH 5 to return home, to avoid the containers trouble in north Chennai. The road link the pulicat and NH5 is simple nice, as it passes through villages and fields giving a sense of freshness in absence of much vehicles. My cousin who is on wheels in his early stage drew back home safely, saving a goat and small puppy which were in there own world across the road. I wish I get a good companion soon in him to drive me everywhere, without waiting for dad or a driver.

Hard work

While thinking something I get to think how things come from and a thought that always rise in me came to answer that everything is because of ‘hard work’. The hard work that done physical is behind everything and nothing comes easily without a stress.

Today everything has turned mechanize and computerized, but still there is something called hard work being built behind the machineries and each machine depends on either, hooked like a chain which is in hands of hard workers. I believe if we dug deep into a machine, it will end up at the hands of labors, who hard work.

Around the world, the hard workers are not getting there real worth for their cause and almost goes to the owners who just own things. I just see it through my eyes and feel it through my sense, that those don’t know what hard work means and never care about it, survives with joy and celebrate in parties. Those who hard work works all along there life, ill treated by owners and managers, and infamous and rich keep them under service.

I sense what hard work means even thought I don’t do anything hard, and for me every movement is hard work and I know because I go through the moments that unbearable stress being borne by my parents to give me life everyday. I believe the hard work never and should not fail, and it brings smile on our face and makes life easier.

Basically all comforts come from hard work and our lives are bound to be.

Mother’s Centenary

A candle that blown out more than a decade ago, and still continue to glow brighter in our hearts and continue to be so. The candle I like to mention her is Mother Theresa, whose birth centenary is celebrated today. I see her as a candle that melts itself to give light and life to others, and of course our mother’s vision can’t be easily appreciated, because her life is a mission that starts missionaries of charity to aid and feed poor, sick and orphan people and those dying for.
Mother Theresa has dedicated her life to the poorest of the poor and this dedication has become her life’s ambition. Thus her ambitious passion brought her the Noble Prize for peace, by appreciating her service and compassionate. The Albanian born mother is named originally as Agnes Gonxha Bojaxhiu and as per the rule of changing the name to become a nun, she chose the name Teresa – whom she vow to become as Teresa Martin, a nun and missionary who dedicated to poor and sick people.

The 18 year old, sent from the Ireland’s nun’s home, where she learnt English, came to India and joined the West Bengal’s Christians church and served as a teacher at Loreto convent school in Calcutta. The worst situation in Calcutta then in poverty, insanitary and over all the pavement dwellers being fed besides the drainage wring her heart and thus she decided to live for them. After receiving the Indian citizenship, she abandons the Loreto nun’s home practice and began to wear a simply cotton sari.

After Vatican’s permission, she started the missionaries of charity and later a home for poor and a hospital to them. She also stated a home for abandoned and orphans, and thus by devoting herself to service the poor and sick patients, she had been talked by everywhere around the world, and it left in peace and struggle when she passed away in her 87th year. Today being her birth century , India is yet to commemorate her by releasing her postal stamp and this is just not enough, and we all need to keep in mind that we do at least what she had done immense to others. Let peace sings to mother.

Summer Rain

ஊசி தும்பி / Needle dragonfly
Chennai is under clouded sky
it drizzles throughout day and night
sometime slightly heavily
it pours down to earth

Seasons change in order, is nature
but it’s indeed unnatural these days
because raining in summer
a summer like never before

The frogs, leaches and snails
that come into exist, because of the rain
leaps and leisurely movies in pace
mess up, after crushed under the wheels

The climate is too pleasant
to enjoy the nature and its existence
I blend with the weather
at every change I get into the shower

I wish the season continue like this
forever, keeping away the distress
and struggle of people under hot sun
and the rain stops, before it flood and drain.

The needle dragonfly in the picture is captured in my home garden. I love this species from my childhood and had attempted to catch them many times.

The Robot Rocks

The Robot (Endhiran) is out in audio and it simply rocks more or less. First time listening I felt quite instrumental and sound of metal and its no wonder because music is by A. R. Rahman and to add sugar the movie is about robot, a mass made of metal. It wasn’t a great disappointment to me and I didn’t expect anything from the movie except it’s a Shanker movie. About the music ARR could have reduced the noise of instrument and avoid rap potion.

SPB, who is always fascinated to the introduction songs of Superstar, is here along with ARR and his daughter Khatija Rahman to call the New Man to earth. The song ‘Puthiya Manitha’ has given life to the robot!

Kathal Anukkal’ is soothing in the flow of Vijay Prakash and Shreya Ghosal! The song is energetic and charming to keep away the melody. Sure the picturesque would be very beautiful says the sample pictures in the lyric book.

Irumbile oru Irudhaiyam’ is so hot in Kash n’ krissy vocal and ARR has given good company in expressing a robot’s emotion and love. The song is rapid and the English verses have added attraction. I think the lyric book is given to understand the lines that goes immerse in music at many places.

Chitti Dace Showcase’ is head aching! A rap which has given way to strong instrumental esp. the drum beats.

Arima Arima’ has elevated the theme from the deep breath of Hariharan and Sadhana Sargam has done her brief part in sweet. The music has put a bravo walk in this robotic show.

‘Kilimanjaro’ is very interesting and Pa.vijay has played with lyrics, so playfully. The song has well rhymed in Javed Ali and Chinmayi voice and it sounds like a tribal song. It’s my favorite song in the album and seems like it was captured in a adorn manner. Aaha Aaha… and Heako ennikkoni… at the each stanza cause prettiness and add giggle to the song.

‘Boom Boom Robo-da’ has an excellent rhythm from the string and it sounds alike the Shivaji’s Athirade! The lyrics are well related to science and childish love and it was written by Vairamuthu’s son Karky. The female singers sound so hot and sweet to cause passion and romance.

Madrasapattinam

The first thing that caught my mind was it was like titanic, where an old woman narrates her past memories and seek to relieve and reconnect her emotions. Among the young generation film makers, director Vijay did a fantastic movie with late independence struggle, love and action in a tremendous backdrop of madrasapattinam which transferred into Chennai today.

It was a lovable love story across the Madras Presidency and Amy’s each and every expression is impressive and adorable! Arya’s role as dhobi, befit the character as a valor and showcase fondness through his eyes. Except the romance, action and protest, there’s so much to observe about our late city. The Buckingham canal, the central railway station, the dhobikhana, Spencer and some more comes as an elegant to eyes. The cinematography is fantastic; it captured something that when we aren’t belong to the scene or seen through pictures.
No words to appreciate the music composer GV, the music was such amazing and stands as a great pillar to the picture. Every song has to be mentioned separately and the composition of western classic seems awesome and I wonder every time listening to the album. Meghame song has a charm of droplets dropping on us and the beats are foot tapping. The quite clouded sky and the blowing wind and sounds are adding pleasant to the then pristine Chennai.

To complete the form, two more characters did there best and among them the late Cochin Haneefa’s one-liners are amusing. It’s sad to miss someone who is well at character and comedy, which comes naturally to him. The British officers ruled the whole; the wresting and chasing scenes are interesting. Should appreciate the courage of director for using British language most of the places under sub-title, though it wasn’t difficult to understand.

Overall the movie was refreshing from the usual Tamil cinema and gives way to decent movie making. I like Vijay’s previous movies and they are quite neat and feel so good. Nice to see such movies to keep stand the Tamil cinemas from hero based movies, and gives important to art, technology and new idea.

Yesterday it was like singing ‘rain rain go away, come again another’ but where does it listen? It poured heavily and disturbed the movie watching at drive-in. It only works out in movies and nature has no man power to control. Oh!

களவாடும் களவாணி - Cute filcher

It was a Tamil song and pictures from the movie Kalavani and I did little change in lines that suites the mind. The tones are interesting while listen the song. The pretty girl oviya is someone caught my attention lately and her expressions are lovable. I haven’t seen her movie, but her stills are set to dream about and just waiting to admire on screen.

Perceive

Thinking about kingmaker on his birth occasion, I think it is his thought that put him on stage as a great leader to enhance governance. He isn’t educated by school, but his experience taught him lessons and he read peoples mind to understand the deficiency and necessity.

Thoughts aren’t captured in books or departmental stores; they are raised from the deep emotion.

I think many leaders don’t work with sense these days, so that many are still suffering from hardship and only with knowledge we can’t develop anything instead of destroying some more hearts. Whoever gains literate or immense knowledge doesn’t shine as much sense touch people’s hearts. There stands the Kamaraj who lead the state then with a sense and rule the country.

The politicians talk about him on occasions and pose like garlanding his statues and promise to bring the golden period again, but without a sense that past could not replace future, and it’s the thought and experience along with sense going to gain a better future. Today the education and knowledge has become business, the sense goes out in search of sum. The technology has arrived to make easer the lesson and knowledge at our laptop screen and practice through internet, we are out of sense to see and explore the essential commodity.

Let’s hope for a better future with sense and knowledge.
