Birds watching

Evening delight
(pic from my archives)
Birds’ wave across the sky
while flying back to home
in magnificent unison
and silhouette version.

Like the prayer flags,
swings across Himalayas,
flocks flew through winds
flapping their wings.

Unlike the human beings,
who hustle and bustle
while come to and fro home
birds fly at peaceful hum.

No, where they set course
or ahead to and fro
against the eventide sunset
to put us on pleasant sight.

  3. I wonder how birds remember/know where to go without GPS, et. all!

  4. these birds are a miracle, which
God has blessed us with. How joyfully they move in the sky at a pace which serves their own will. Who'd have inspired us to go on and 'leave some footprints on the sands of without them? yours is a great tribute to the innocent critters in the sky!

  5. Sometimes I watch the birds flying & wish I also had wings..to reach the sky, watch the sun hiding behind the mountains.. These little creatures belittle us with their discipline and commitment. :)

  9. Hello There, I enjoyed your post today. The poem is wonderful. You know how much I love my birds!!!!!

Sorry I haven’t been around much lately. I do try to read blogs—but just haven’t commented very much lately like I usually try to do. Please don’t give up on me. Hopefully my life will be back to ‘normal’— whatever that is (ha), sometime in January.

I did get a cortisone shot in my knee —which has helped with the pain somewhat. In January, I will most likely have meniscus tear surgery…. BUT—in the meantime, I plan to have a fantastic Christmas —and hopefully get to see my kids/grands… God is Good.

    Hugs,
    Betsy
