For today’s
good fences meme, run by Run a Round Ranch, was shot from the heart of Chennai.
The steel handrail of the statue of former Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, M.G.
Ramachandran, on the Mount Rd. The bronze statue erected across the Mount Rd,
near Agurchand Mansion, was shot while waiting for the signal.
Interesting shot. It leaves the viewer wondering about the identity of the person memorialized in the statue. I hope to see you at http://image-in-ing.blogspot.com/2015/08/bennett-place-bit-of-history.html, and please join us each week for Wordless Wednesday (on Tuesday)!
Poor MGR ! I pity him standing in the open podium covered in gold paint exposed to heavy rain or hot blistering sun. Politicians visit him once or twice a year to garland his statue. Other times he is left alone to face the hazards and fury of nature !
Nice shot of the statue and fence! Have a happy day!
ReplyDeleteI like the design of the handrail, Jeevan.
