The image captured at Kurangani, near Theni and it is a highly windy area. |
----------------- --------------------
Wind, hijack me
Like a deciduous leaf
I do not know the direction
Take me.
Either to space, or
To grave;
Across plains
Rolling down the valley
Sniffing the mountain ridges
Falling in the waterfall
Hijack, wind
Across the border!
Beautiful poem!
ReplyDeleteIs that the Tamil language at the beginning? I can't read it, but it looks simply magnificent! How do kids ever learn to write it?
Love this...
ReplyDeleteSandi - Writing the language comes with birth as we born and brought up in Tamil families and the language isn’t difficult to write as we practice how to read, write and speak in Tamil at home even before kids go to school. Tamil is a beautiful language to read or write and I no wonder you find it magnificent!
ReplyDeleteI love your poem, Jeevan. You have a nice way with the written word.
ReplyDeleteThis is simply beautiful -- in any language.
ReplyDeletePowerful is wind for sure ~ lovely poetry and dynamic photo ^_^
