Yokohama Rooster

The yokohama is a domestic breed of chicken found in Japan. This breed is raised neither for its eggs nor for its meat. It is raisedonly for ornamental purposes, the roostersbeing magnificent bird with tail feathers that can grow to a length of 3 meters.

Like the Peacock in Indian art, the Yokohama rooster is widely portrayed in tradiotional Japanese paintings and in embroidery, tapestry and pottery.

hi jeevan!i think there was something abt the Yokohama Rooster
on tv a few days back..discovery channel i think..i like the wide variety of topics u write abt..nice work with sivakasi poster and preview.bayangara asin fan ayitenga pola iruke ;)..and i am not surprised..she's real pretty!!!
