My dear kingfisher
I meet you every day
and miss you equivalently
thus I or you on our own job.
and miss you equivalently
thus I or you on our own job.
We find either regularly
or sometime at our intervals
unlike the late morning wishes
we often exchange in silence.
or sometime at our intervals
unlike the late morning wishes
we often exchange in silence.
I feel cheerful seeing you
appealing in robin blue
every time u come perch
the glorious gulmohar tree.
appealing in robin blue
every time u come perch
the glorious gulmohar tree.
Opening the red beak
you sing a vibration song,
a distinct yet unique one
is my favorite mimics tone.
you sing a vibration song,

I attend your calls; sometime
dialed from far away bushes,
I feel your presence, whenever
I catch you in my mind voice.
dialed from far away bushes,
I feel your presence, whenever
I catch you in my mind voice.
You play a role in my life
that I could cherish anytime
and you’re my beautiful blue bird
I feel close to my heart.
that I could cherish anytime
and you’re my beautiful blue bird
I feel close to my heart.

What a beautiful bird. Birds are beautiful gifts that should be cherished and appreciated. Wonderful poem Jeevan.
awesome poem and wonderful bird, too! great job, jeevan!
It seems as if for a while you were possessed by kingfisher's spirit...he he..:)
Lovely poem - and your collage is simply stunning!
Beautiful poem, and the mosaic of the birds are wonderful. This is such a nice post!
Nice poem. The kingfisher is a beautiful bird.
Wonderful ode to a wonderful bird. The way kingfisher dives into the river and catches fish offers an excellent sight. It's good of you to write a poem on birds.

A nice poem overall: I particularly loved the following stanza.
" I attend your calls; sometime
dialed from far away bushes,
I feel your presence, whenever
I catch you in my mind voice."

Wow, I never seen a kingfisher like that. The ones around here near the Texas Gulf can be a little drab in color. Nice photo.
