Every Day they are celebrating a Day. Today is World Elders Day.
In all countries, and in developing countries in particular, measures to help older people remain healthy and active are a necessity, not a luxury. A demographic revolution is underway throughout the world. Today, world-wide, there are around 600 million persons aged 60 years and over; this total will double by 2025 and will reach virtually two billion by 2050 - the vast majority of them in the developing world.
In our fast ageing world, older people will increasingly play a critical role - through volunteer work, transmitting experience and knowledge, helping their families with caring responsibilities and increasing their participation in the paid labour force. Already now, older persons make major contributions to society. For instance, throughout Africa –and elsewhere - millions of adult AIDS patients are cared for at home by their parents. On their death, orphaned children left behind (currently, 14 million under the age of 15 in African countries alone) are mainly looked after by their grandparents.
It is not only in developing countries that older persons' role in development is critical. In Spain for example, caring for dependent and sick individuals (of all ages) is mostly done by older people (particularly older women); the average number of minutes per day spent in providing such care increases exponentially with the carers age: 201 minutes if the carer is in the age group 65-74 and 318 minutes if aged 75-84 - compared to only 50 minutes if the carer is in the age group 30-49 (Duran H, Fundacion BBVA, 2002).
Such contributions to development can only be ensured if older persons enjoy adequate levels of health, for which appropriate policies need to be in place. In line with the Madrid International Plan of Action, the World Health Organization launched in 2002 a document "Active Ageing - A Policy Framework", outlining its approaches and perspectives for healthy ageing throughout the life course.
· In 2000, there were 600 million people aged 60 and over; there will be 1.2 billion by 2025 and 2 billion by 2050.
· Today, about two thirds of all older people are living in the developing world; by 2025, it will be 75%.
· In the developed world, the very old (age 80+) is the fastest growing population group.
· Women outlive men in virtually all societies; consequently in very old age, the ratio of women/men is 2:1.
I plan to create a Blog for Days. Because every day, there was a day to celebrate.

Elephant Day September 22
What Elephant Day? Yes there is a day to celebrate Elephants. Elephant Day or Elephant Appreciation Day was declared on September 22 in 1996 by Mission Media to celebrate the Elephant because...
·Is the largest land mammal of our era,
·Is unique among mammals for its trunk,
·Is the most noble of beasts on earth,
·Is most undeservedly threatened with extinction,
·Has been man's benefactor in numerous ways throughout history,
·Is entertaining and amusing,
·Is gentle and friendly,
·Contributes to ecosystem development and maintenance,
and generally deserves to be appreciated and upheld as an example of courage, strength, self-reliance, patience, persistence, and general high quality of being.
Who?
Elephant Appreciation Day / Elephant day is sponsored by Mission media, Inc., a digital and print publisher of graphics. Mission Media is wholly owned by the Hepburn Family in Sarasota, Florida. Wayne Hepburn, the Publisher and President, established the day for the reasons outlined above.
Why they celebrate Elephant Day?
The founder, Wayne Hepburn, while living in the Chicago area in 1970 received as a gift from his twelve-year-old daughter a paperweight whose base was encircled by a parade of elephants. He subsequently bought here and there an elephant figure. By 1978 when he moved to Orange Park, Florida he had eighty or so elephants crowding out the books in his living room bookcase.
He became more interested in elephants and began reading and learning about them, seeking them out, riding them, and fed his growing passion for elephants with a collection which in 1997 numbers one thousand nine hundred nine catalogued items. The catalogued items include: figures, toys, clothing articles, books (over 100), music boxes, jewelry, prints and original art ... in short, every imaginable art and artifact bearing or made in the likeness of an elephant. In addition he has collected examples of elephant images used in publicity, advertising, brand identifications, cartoons, and all manner of print and other media applications.
He obtained a World Wide Web domain, elephanteria.com in 1996 and posted the only site of its kind on the web ... ELEPHANTERIA as a place where people who love elephants can find their heart's desires and links to everything not contained in the site. The Wild Heart trade name was sold in 2001 and Elephanteria ownership reverted to Mission Media, Inc.
Elephant Day, unlike community festivals, has no central event. It is to be observed and enjoyed by anyone anywhere on a local level.
Now days all of them celebrating different things every day. Who knows, they will also celebrate a Day for Ant, Rat, Snake, Pig, dinosaur ect… any how good things happen is ok.

blog of ZEN
Today I read blog of Aatma (http://nyabangal.blogspot.com).
He wrote about ZEN.
It tells who is god, how can we feel him. first I thought it will be a bore blog, while reading it was very intersting. All blog friends should read his blog.
It tells us God is not there there or there it is here (it is inside us). What a good words! What are all the things happen to us, we are responcible. No one we come with us till end we should be alart and careful of our life.
Be silent. Silent is a word it gives us many useful things in the world. Nature is the silent. we can realise the silence by seeing nature things like Trees, Birds, Sky, Sea ect.
Just sitting will give us many good things, close your eyes and meditate, don’t tell any mantras, just sit it is the secret of success.
After reading this blog I realise, I have left many good things in the world. The silent givies every thing to us. Hear after I will be silent and feel the nature, beauty, peace and every thing.
Thanks for Aatma to wrote an excellent blog.

World Tourism Day September 27
Since 1980, September 27 is celebrated by the World Tourism Organization as World Tourism Day. It was established at the Third Session of the WTO General Assembly in Torremolinos, Spain, in September of 1979. The purpose of this day is to display awareness that tourism is vital to the international community and to show how it affects the social, cultural, political and economic values worldwide. Each year, there is a new theme, and a host country as the WTO's partner for celebrating World Tourism Day, which is selected by the WTO General Assembly.
September 27th is important since on that day in 1970, the Statutes of the WTO were adopted. The adoption of the statutes is considered to be a milestone in global tourism.

The Island review Ends
While returning from there, he saw an amazing scene. I was surprised to see that. There was a room full of Cloning Eggs!! Inside the Eggs, there are humans sleeping like a baby (like baby sleeping inside the Mother embryo). They cut the eggs and taking the humans out. I hadn’t and can’t dream a scene like this. And Ewan saw another incident, where doctors taking organs from cloning humans. After seeing that incidents he realizes that who are going to Island are killed.
While he returning from that place after seeing the incidents, he was captured in hidden video camera. While check the camera the gang head saw him on the video and tells the guards to catch him but he is escaping with his best friend (Scarlett) who is ready to go for Island. And tell her the details what is happening there. And they two come out of that place, and seeing the world for there first in there life. They travel for some kilometers and go to a bar; there they saw a scientist who works in cloning gang. Ewan attack the scientist, then the scientist tell them they are not normal humans they are cloned person. I realize from this scene they are cloned. The scientist help them to go for city, he gives his credit cards and some cash.
They travel in a bullet train and goes to city. The cloning gang head sent some illegal police to catch them; they escape from police and running. The chasing shot was amazing it looks like Video Game. The Ewan and Scarlett where jump on a tanker lorry and removing the iron wheels from the tanker. The wheels hits the cars and Vans in which the police travel the hitting scene was super and the cars and vans are destroying and from tanker they jump on a bike the bike is super, it fly like a flight in the sky and goes like a bike in read, they take the bike and flying and helicopter chase them and finally the bike crash on a big building (like September 11 incident) and they were hanging on a advertisement board and the board falls from the highest building, but they escape.
They hide in a house, there they saw a man like Ewan (Hero) they were shocked. And they tell the incidents what happen to them. The duplicate Ewan tell the he will help, but Scarlett dint hope him. Duplicate Ewan present him a super car, he teach Ewan how to drive. He takes Ewan to drive on the road and that time police came and chase him. The duplicate Ewan is a member of that illegal Police; he gives the message to them. Finally the police catch them. Here the two Ewan tell police I am not Cloned, I am not cloned finally the police shoot the dupicate Ewan and take them. They release the Ewan (hero) and he went to his best friend and tells I am Ewan the duplicate was killed by police. Here there Love Starts as usual with a beautiful kiss.
Ewan and Scarlett put a plan to save the cloned people who are in under the control of the cloning gang, but police catch Scarlett and take him to the cloning place, she escape from them and Ewan is also coming to that place. Now the gang sent some cloned person to Island, to take there organs and kill, but Ewan and Scarlett release them and Destroyed that gang and kill the scientists. And all of them coming out of that place and get freedom. Now the Ewan’s Dream comes True. Ewan and her Lover (Scarlett), travel on the Boat. The End.
For Michael Bay (Director), this is an opportunity to strike into new territory. The special effects are among the best I had seen recently.
The chemistry between him and Scarlett Johansson makes it that much more interesting, especially when you know that their minds are only as developed as that of 15-year-olds. The Island had the potential to be as philosophical and profound as The Matrix, but it simply chooses not to. Hence, it does not tax your brain too much, just teases it a little and goes down fighting, all guns blazing.
You just cannot leave your brains behind, when you watch this movie.
Overall it was a Sci-fi action adventure. Watch it soon.
