Stupid-station

Look at the picture, shows a girl child was married to a dog in presence of the relatives where this takes stage in the state of Jharkhand. The superstition that turns stupid situations these days is not uncommon in India. The human-animal marriage lists some believes that links human and animals to avoid bad lucks. The world runs in technology and everything turns simpler and fearless today, still some people bind there minds in easily following customs. People and law are blind to force the rights on when every such incident light up and people only to put interest on the news and not to point out the wrong act. For our beliefs who are we to force the children who are innocent about what is happening to them and when there is ban on child marriage how could we accept human-child marriage that is not legal.

It seems cruel in the above picture where the dog and child are forcefully pulled to participate in the ceremony. Where ever the people get to find a reason for their superstition, not even left the tooth gum to consider a bad luck. read here. This indicates me of the urgency they need to set them free from the bad evil they practice. There was another incident written by one of our friend in his blog that happens in a village of Tamil Nadu’s Neyveli, where the girl children below to age of 10 were beaten by there parents in a wipe on the public, was the heights of there belief to get plenty of rain and make village productive. How many of us are there to think these incidents to sweep seriously and how many where to see this just funny and laugh at the innocent peoples? I don’t find much to take it, where these are only countable and who know as we count the numbers may increase and rumours may spreads the superstition from individual to undividable from people.

Indeed loss

One of the most intelligent and a fantastic Tamil writer is not alive. I have not read any of his books, but have read his some articles in weekly magazine, and wonder at his answers for nearly everything. Sujatha's dialogues present in films to my most favorites, just makes me expect more films within his dialogues. Really the time world is looking for his upcoming grand projects suddenly fallen down is a sudden shock and a complete loss for his millions of fans. Let he rest in peace and respect.

Riding visiting

P1054056 P1054052

Sun was shining on Sunday, but not me feeling it along the Coromandel Coast on a short long drive filled with chillness inside the wagon. Uncle brought a new car, so planned for a ride in ECR with our family and then it was visiting the traditional family deity temple few kilometers away from Kalpakkam. It was more than ten years back we went, this time grandma was with us, so made her to visit the temple what she was asking for long time. On the way we picked the cousin bro, who was still spending his holidays wandering after attending the Mamallapuram Magam. The place was clueless to find, when the time we visited last it was vacancy and nothing to do with rarely people visit. Now buildup with structure, the temple attracted more people and have priest to take care devotees. There was a known family in the same villages, we stop there who never knows them except dad, but the people are more human enquiring where even both of us were unfamiliar. I wonder at people behavior that I find only in villages enquiring people and share the moment as familiar.

Still I find the small children looking around the car and asking about what is it, how it works…. There was a little one with festival cooling glass making fun with others, I really impressed in there amuse and innocent smiles. On returning we parked the vehicle on roadside with paddy fields and small canal runs where we stopped for lunch. The wishes came along passing the dried Palar river bed and clean water stays some where the ditches to think playing in it. When ever I see a dried river with little waters, the mind craves for fun ride on like trekking style. For grandma she needs to meet some relatives in mamallapuram and I was eager to visit my dear sister there we get to spend with her in times waiting for grandma to finishing her attendant with relatives.

Bro was driving (in his style) the way, this time unusual for me traveling except from Maruti 800 and this vehicle with more spaces and to climb and down though not comforts me whom really have quite satisfied with my position at Maruti. One or two thing I disagree with my brother driving was too speed and unaware of overtaking places that made me to use the seat belt and then only I felt how safe is to use seat belts are in highways. Anyway it was cool and different ride, going to some place that was like memorable time had been revisits with my lost uncle shyam’s thought with whom we first get there.

Magam Festival

Similarly I have not much explored and aware about the festival Masi Magam that come in Tamil month of Masi (February-March). This festival usually falls on full moon day following the Makram star on this month and is considered highly favorable across south Indian Temples, especially in Tamil Nadu. This year Masi Magam felled on Feb 21, the full moon day. The important aspect of this festival is taking idols from the temples to the seashore or nearby ponds to dip and is also related to holy bath ceremony. After doing pujas and other rituals at the shore, thousands of devotees are throng near the shore to witness the worship and bathing in the sea.

In this process the Lord Vishnu and Shiva Idols are the most brought to the shore and also Idols from the Shakti temples. The myths are numerous according to Masi Makam and each temple has a myth for celebrating this festival. According to legend this festival importantly relates to Lord Shiva, who appears as a child before King Vallala of Tiruvannamalai, who has contributed in spreading the benefits of Girivalam and Arunachala temple and a passionate devotee of Shiva get promised by lord to perform his last ritual as he have no son or heir. What relates to this festival is the king died on a day is known as Masi Magam and it is said that the Lord performed his last rites. So it is believed that every year the Lord visits the sea to perform the last rites of the King and whoever bathes in the sea during Masi Magam will merge with him and will get mukthi(salvation).

Once in every twelve years people celebrate it in grand, and was called Maha Maham which is celebrate with great importance at the Adi Kumbeswaran temple in Kumbakonam. This temple holds a huge tank and the water from cavery driven to this tank, which deemed to be special and holiness. In my experience I was able to cover one of the celebrations in late years at Mamallapuram which was our ancestors place. This is one place the festival celebrates with highly important of two days. The first day before Masi Magam is known as Theppothsavam (floating festival). On this day Sri Ulaguyya Nindra Piran (Sthalasayana Perumal) idol from the nearest temple brought to the tank and kept on the decorated barge to make it float along the tank, to sail around for nine rounds. The steps would be filled with people watching the float raft and those interested are allowed to pull the float.

Masi Magam is conducted on the continuing day with special ritual performance for Uthsava Perumal (festival god) idol that brought to sea. After the proceeding are over, the idol was keep few distance away from the sea for moments, so that the devotees can take dip (with more excitement along with family and friends) in sea what they believe as holiness bath and then to get received blessing from the Lord. They won’t allow anyone to bath in the sea before lord enters. These are some process I have witnessed from one of my experience at Masi Magan some years back and I hope there would be nothing have changed so far. This year my cousin’s family whet to take part in Mamallapuram Magam and for some reason I unaccepted there invite. When I am writing this, the festival has been over already with a day passing, but I thought to share something about this festival.

Uncovered

My season of favored begins early
sending sea breeze after late morn
with so many excite the mind felt
as it pushes the tender winds
across my stretched window frame

From the long lost greener, is back
in reflecting the cool breeze even sun shines;
the fallen tubes of wind chimes resist
striking the pleasant jingling sounds
hangs, lack hands, to replace with new chime

After weeks of visiting, nothing unchanged
on my eventide ride in wheels, sighting
from children in streets with out stress
seems like defeating digital world,
playing on wagons passing streets, and
bloomed yellow flowers, either sides
indicating the uncover spring.

Default dwell

Mind concern that it’s the pollute
from this long unreleased air condition
sends me the condition of least to say,
where the dusty breeze exist
still to realize then throat strikes
to swallow on breathe
dismissing the normal tone
in turn minimizes in minutes.

the nature exists the wind in space
still breathing the chillness within walls
in breeze not reaching the peaks,
flying similarly in evening winds
hiding somewhere inward rooms
and rocks in night when we sleeps.

indolence relaxes on wanders face
any lazy guy won’t despondence in killing
even much there isn’t decease for little flies,
we scattered webs to defense ourselves
the impurity environ and slumbering sanitary
in intimate solidarity is the dawn term.

How the word mokkai did come into existence?

Once a pone time when an Englishman was covering all the blades in a blade factory, unfortunately one such blade cut through his finger. Every one around him was tensed and they came to help him, but as the blade was not sharp he wasn’t injured. He told the blade is not sharp, I am okay, I am okay, I am okay’…

Others mistook it as ‘I mokai, I mokai and later by translation it became mokkai. So how is this Mokkai?

Happy Weekend to you all :)

Just for fun

Your Brain's Pattern

Your mind is a creative hotbed of artistic talent.

You're always making pictures in your mind, especially when you're bored.

You are easily inspired to think colorful, interesting thoughts.

And although it may be hard to express these thoughts, it won't always be.

The first thing I got to select this Patten is children’s scribble, looking at this patten that reflects me.

Bloggin’ Blessing

I was tagged by Priya and Lalitha

This tag is called the blessing tag.You are supposed to bless three of your blog friends.the tag was started over here -ukok.
The idea and the rules of passing on the tag are:

While it is my wish to bless all who read this blog, for the purposes of starting this little endeavour it is necessary that I ‘bless’ 3 blog friends, who may in turn ‘bless’ 3 blog friends. Let’s use a simple format, and let’s make it even simpler by suggesting that the recipient simply copies and pastes above picture when they become the recipient of a bloggin blessing themselves.

The idea… it’s a game of tag with a difference, rather than looking inwardly, we look outside ourselves and bless, praise and pray for one blog friend. By participating in this endeavour we not only make the recipient of the blessing feel valued and appreciated, but we are having some fun too. We’re going to see how far the bloggin’ blessings can travel around the world and how many people can be blessed! Recipients of a bloggin’ blessing may upload the above image to their sidebar if they choose to. If you receive a bloggin’ blessin’ please leave a comment on this thread here so that we can rejoice in just how many blessings have been sent around the world.

I bless all my buddies, but I leave it on the interest of others to taking this tag.

Scroll down to read the English version of this poem, thank you.

Kadhal Mazhai_Jeevan

Rain rain, new rain
year’s first rain
from the driven clouds across miles
the achievement of fallen drops the rain.

Like deer’s leaping at forest
tender stand wind caress today,
thoughts craving for more and more
where it’s haul wander of winds, or
seasons love web.

Peafowl knows rain to come season
heart understand this is the love
wetting earth is worlds abundance
love combines is sweetness of heart.

Love to drizzles seven landmass
to turn hearts as hands to wipe moisture
with affection, attachment, friendship
for people’s peace, love is the final praise.

Wrote this verse on Sunday, just enjoying the first rain of the year and in wish, filled with words of love. Let love spreads everywhere and bring peaceful moments.

Sailing friend-ship

met with friends
Nothing stops from sharing the moments again lease within a week of meeting friends at drive-in. This weekend was very exciting with friends visiting home for lunch and this time with thooya’s dad and our dear buddy Satheesh (Nirek) to join. It was more fun to fill the moment having all together at my home; I don’t thinking this time will come nearly, but came to make delight. What I was supposed to tell really is what day we met was lost from my memories; I could only thought about our times we bear together. So far it was time disables, I think of learning and understanding buddies, they are fair on there own characters of soft smiles, fun loving, quite listening and well-meaning...

I was in interest meeting satheesh who was to be a very familiar person those I come across, he is journey loving dear who caress ones shares his stretch. Thooya have a great father who could understand his draught’s wish and I was glad for the time he took to visit our home and thanks for senthil and viji to give there enough time for us. I was not to make anybody yearning, but the true is I was left like a child whose balloon was snatch suddenly when it happily playing. Because the bliss playing with me, for the interest of them to spend their wonderful times. It was too late noon when having lunch, but it was happy only, where waiting is welfare to this dream come true for us. I was not to admit of meeting thooya and satheesh at same moment, it was the rare occasion of this journey in life. How well the understanding between us, prefers bringing every corner linking with walls of friendship. The sea never ends, lets everyone have a ship to travel on it with friends, naming friendship.
--------

I was watching a wonderful film this weekend, the movies that I expects from the day it announced, but the video which I seen was a very low quality DVD with many cuts between scenes. Pallikoodam, it touches the sense of people who enjoys there memories of schooling life. The film is about the old students come together to save their school which was to be destroyed soon. The movie is based on a novel Kalavadiya Pozuthugal, written my director Thangar Pachan who also well acted as an old student of this school. I highly recommend this film to any one who likes to watch a good film that caresses our sweet hearts.

Don’t let down Sania

Although controversies, injuries and court cases couldn’t stop Sania Mirza becoming Asia’s No. 1 women tennis player. She bounced back to the 29th spot after her third-round appearance in the Australian Open, overtaking China’s Na Li and losing to Wimbledon champion Venus Williams.

But Sania’s decision to stay away from the coming WTA Bangalore Open and upcoming games worrying the future of Tennis in India. She may stop playing to avoid the controversy that follows her every match in India, but this decision by Sania to stop from playing in India could well spark with another debate or to link with the recently court order of a probe into the allegation that she showed disrespect to the national flag. To stop every rumor, its better she continue playing just leaving the controversies at side and aim on moving front. It was great time for tennis with her Asia’s No.1 position and it was the encouragement of us, that could make her do more. Well do great Sania!

Immature through law

What I see in the law commission report is that age is nothing to do with marriage. I doubt that one is fully matured at the age of 18 and available for physical relationship that decides there future? No way. The one is matured through fully availability of mind, knowledge and body; just not in the age alone... More the report told is: “reducing the age limit of men getting married from 21 to 18 could stop the child marriage and the research report tells there is no medical research have said that a man marries at age of 18 faces debility. They put questions that if men were determine to poll vote at 18, why not to marry?... and no scientific evident for fixing that man should marry at only 21." It was unreasoning if a law bringing into force with these recommendations thinking it could bring a change and stop child marriage. (Global record of age to marry according to countries).

Further, the report says "the age for sexual consent should be raised from 15 to 16 for all girls, regardless of marriage." At present one having sex with a girl under 15 is punished as criminal act, even if they married, but how much such cases have been registered so far is invalid. Many people hesitate to come forward to complain and the unawares mostly in fair away distance from cities still follows it as custom and the law noting to do with. There are many villages, even town and cities not following the rules of child girl marriage; as soon they attend the womanhood, parents brought into thoughts of putting there daughters into marriage life.

I know none can ban the love or put it under law, it’s the nature feel comes at any age... love comes under wish and affection and it relates dump to fit mentally and physically. Hearing to my ears and come to know many girl children are prepared and filled with marriage and children before crossing 18. Now if the government take the report serious and fix the age of man getting marriage at 18, what the age of women? Many mind of men out in the world look for a lesser age women as their partner, if so one marries at 18, he would mostly look for a girl below 18 and it can go least below 15. I think the report more is not like to stopping the child marriage and in a way it encourages.

If one he/she was left into physical relationship without a developed mind and unaware of the relation, sure it going to disturb the next generation, I mean the children born to them. How would be the behavior and activities of a child, that born to and brought up by another child? I see children with very young mother who’s paired with a decade old husband. Here itself we could find distinguish between the father, whose views would be different and mother who lack for information looking after a child. A parents experience exposes on there own kids, if not at age, by mind they should be capable of bringing a better generation.

Intend to see

A ran hard worked heart taking rest
before freezing; it takes rest as wearing
simplicity…. antiquity hiding the eyes
where compassion gone, banding its eyes.

Understand relations stand in distance watching
some mysterious hearts lives in some intend
when a distress visits, worries comes admit
uninterested relation this or that it seeks.

Unable to hide the truth
it came here and fell
to wake up and answer
though the world hesitates.

Eyes stain in imagination
what happened is true,
to remember wetness in heart
I glance to forget but my intend not conceal

Pachyderms laid rest

They are the huge lives on the earth, which troubled the kovai villages sometimes back and was chased into forest by officials, where they visits often the villages would never going to come again in headlines. They went climbing upon the broad-gauge in Coimbatore when the rail hit them. It sadden everyone who come across the news and pictures of this bloody incident. It’s the very worst happening in recent times; even though it gives lots of trouble to people we have a soft cornet on pachyderm. Due to many reasons we lose elephants; earlier such incident happens in Assam’s elephant-bathing zone killing two elephants including a calf. Now what we want to look is a solution or a plan to find out the animal’s passage to avoid future incidents hitting by train.

The distress exists out today in tears because of this incident: Three elephants, including a pregnant mammal, were hit and killed by a speeding passenger train passing through Pakkalad railway track in Coimbatore. As the train hits, the pregnant one bearing an 18-month-old fetus crushed in the middle of the moving train, where the calf splits off under the impact, throwing the fetus on the side of the tracks. The two male elephants helping the pregnant one to cross the track were died as soon the train hits.

A merry disclosing meet

The pleasant noon ends with sweet memories, under the trees, surrounds with birds’ sonant, along with wagons moving. All year’s birds come across the winter and springs to keep enjoying the season and for our views in the bird sanctuaries, like it was a lady bird is visiting chennai from the island continent. It was not quite surprise, because it was a planned trip and meeting, but it surprises and enthusiastic to meet my dearest friend with two more buddies. Its goes to Viji to make communicate us and prepare for the meeting that could be feasible for all of us and especially kindly for me to move freely in wheels. Once they called for a meeting, I dint think about any thing and only the meet gets to mind, after ending the call I feel where my dad could be able to take me to the meeting point, because he has office on Friday. Keeping in mind where he said I will take you if you want to visit them, so when I replaying his words, he can’t deny and said to return half-day from office to see my friends. Later becoming into fresh, waited for dad to arrive soon and a call from friend to get ready, time comes to move in the noon traffic journey that was better for us and stable for them that ends in few minutes to get us together.

In empty mind, no clue with only her sweet voice and knowing viji’s visage, exceptionally an angel standing at my side, I don’t want to wonder as I already know there would be amiable behind the kind and sweetest girl. There we all got on a walk from our cars towards the A/C restaurant room and again returning to our parking place to make our dinner in the opened and freely space under the trees, where the rooms are filled. She was double in returning of love, kind, affection towards all of us and I feel what it was the nature brought us here showing care, love on each of us. Her sister who comes to meet was oppose to her excitement; she was quite quiet watching all of us. The both buddies Viji and Senthil are very nice and carrying persons for friendship and I really liked there friendship, and they are enjoying teasing each others. It was a pleasure joining in there fun chat and in photographing. The first thing will always remain forever; like that our first meet would always memorable. We were at drive-in for more than an hour, spending times on eating dosai in creating a circle of conversing and finishing the dishes. Who would really want to end some of us lives for our moment, sharing in there shot times journey? If there was a positive situation around sometime, it would be great for a fun period to return again. Thanks for the buddies for this get together and the warm hugs you brought for me.

The only worries me is, I couldn’t bring any greeting for her when she was presenting me with gifts, chocolates... and when they are taking picture I was lack to snap without a camera. But I would get the pics from them later, and narrating everything just leaving blank without her name is like shutting up everything. She is non than our Thooya, a bravo write and struggle fighter from Sydney.
