3 Quotes Challenge

Destination Infinity (Rajesh) tagged me to take up the ongoing quotes challenge across the blogs. Following DI, I decided to post all the quotes in one post, skipping away the rules of posting three quotes on three different days. Though I don’t have a collection of quotes and certain to be favorites but I just read and pass away to rarely save quotes in device. So I decide to write my own quotes or thoughts, however you perhaps take.

"Comfort keep us confine and put into coffin very soon compare to hard workers who sustain longer and better survive."
"My belief that the best is yet to come keeps me going."
"Fear is unavoidable when strolling in unsafe landscape. Though courage is something one needs to battle the evil surrounding rather sitting ideal in fear."
I’m not tagging anybody and interested may take on their own.

Btw, these are rules of this tag, if you like to follow:

1. Post one of your favorite quotes (different quote on each day) on three consecutive days. The quote can be from your favorite book, author, or your own.
2. Nominate 3 bloggers to challenge them.
3. Thank the blogger, who nominated you.

The Liebster Award – Q&A

Ruth (of Ruth Fashion Diary) choose me for this award which is designed for new and upcoming bloggers who have under 200 followers and it’s such a great way to help the new blogs to grow, discover other blogs as well as welcome them into the blogging community.  I guess she must chosen me for this award seeing the followers list on my blog’s sidebar which shows less than 200 followers make her think I perhaps a new or upcoming blogger rather knowing I’m a decade older to blog. Though I don’t want to disappoint her, I just give a try to answer her questions:

1. How do you keep yourself inspired?
Reading is something keeps me going and the desire to learn something and exploring places (travelling) are the main source of my inspiration, apart observing nature and anything relevant to same.

2. What is the meaning of you blog name?
Jeevan’s World: Everything/anything related to my life/world

3. What is one piece of clothing that you cannot live without?
Anything goes on hiding the body

4. What is your favorite fashion store?
I don’t go for purchasing/shopping anywhere... so no idea about favorite.

5. What made you want to start a blog?
You won’t believe if I say I don’t know what blog is all about when I started to blog. I just want to create a webpage for myself and thus blog emerged. But later it becomes a vital platform for sharing.

6. Which blogger is your biggest idol?
There are number of bloggers I admire and pointing out one as idol is quite impossible.

7. What's the perfect job for you?
I don’t think anything right now but I would like to become a farmer and promote the traditional farming using cattle and organic fertilizer or manure.

8. What do you first do when you get up in the morning?
Brush my teeth and only then I drink or eat anything. For the last 4-5 years I continue to take an herbal juice called “Able To”, which is a blend of green tea, aloe vera, noni, gooseberries... in the morning after brushing. The day begin with it make feel easy in digestion and excretion and fresh somewhat.

9. What place in the world would you like to visit and why?
I always love places that adjoin mountains, ocean or beaches and being in Chennai, beach is the most favorite/frequent place for not only me. But how come a place where both beaches and mountains exist together? It must be awesome then and one such place is Rio de Janeiro in Brazil. I think this city fascinates from every angle and famous for gorgeous beaches, statue of Christ the Redeemer atop a Mt. and the world’s largest festival called Rio Carnival.

10. How would you describe your style?
Simple and cool

11. How would you describe yourself using one word?
Lighthearted

Thanks Ruth (for the award) and others for your support

Wow! A tag after long back

DestinationInfinity trapped me in a tag, but to say the truth I took this into my favor as I was out of idea what to post in my blog today. Actually I don’t have a thought to write about me because my blog is a part of myself but still I like to make some notes. So here are 7 things about me.

  1.  Liked to be simple, I like things related to same and also like it to be compact and neat. And to put it simple I even received a certificate while in school for coming neat to school.
  2. I am very easy/happy going guy and ever looked serious or can’t even act like that. I too forgive easily (esp. to avoid hurting others) and always try to give change to see if they could adjust or repeat it again.
  3. An atheist! But I don’t exhibit it to others unless it needed and also don’t interrupt others belief and accept the dear ones come up with scared ash/saffron in affection and love. Though I know nothing going to change by letting those, at least I don’t hurt their feelings until they understand me quite.
  4.  I am a Complan boy, but love coffee more than anything and lately addicted to butter biscuit and tea! :D  A non-vegetarian on limited intake with recipes/dishes but the favorite one is fish.
  5. I always go for things and think which is only possible; because I don’t want my life to lead stressful and let others suffer for my intention and desire. I feel content with what I have.
  6. I always want to go out exploring places and an adventure seeker, who likes to venture into the wild and take roads that less traveled. An off-road enthusiast who believes the true experience lies only out of comfort.
  7. I have a passion for world cinema and for me the films are not just entertainment but there’s lot to understand/learn and admire. I don’t like watching films in pirated DVDs or downloading a film before it crosses 100 days. But these days the TV Channels don’t let me wait long and as soon or even before the film is out of theater they drop at our small screen.  Quality is very important for me when watching a film in theater/television, because I don’t watch films just for that although my list of films watched are very less.
I am not going to tag anybody and I think many followers have been tagged for the same by their friends. So those willing to share about you can do :)

Colors that I captured

Our friend Rajesh of My Indian Travel invited me to participate in ‘Capture the Colour’ contest by TravelSupermaket and here I like to share the colors in images that I captured and picking the photos randomly from the folders. The photos below are highlighted by the colors of blue, green, yellow, white and red.

Blue
In memory of Tsunami victims!

This memorial is erected in the southern tip of India, Kanyakumari, in the memory of the Tsunami victims; Kanyakumari lose hundreds of lives to the tsunami that stroke the Southeast Asia on 26 December 2004. In the abstract sculpture, I could observe a hand allying the rage wave and other one holding a lamp as pleasing the wave.

Green
Kodanad Estate
This is a part of Kodanad Estate, in the Nilagiri District of Tamil Nadu and this is a shot captured close to the TN chief minister’s bungalow, where she use to take rest while in office or not and coincidently she was staying there while we visited the estate and view point. But she was not in the power that time and it was the period waiting for the results of the state assembles election last year in April.

Yellow
Banana flowers
Other day mom brought banana flower from market and it looked very pretty in color like ever seen before. The middle part was in mild pink and tip in yellow; I find it wonderful to capture. For some time now, the banana flowers have been my favorite thing on food and I wish mom cooks it at least once or twice in a week.

White
Danish Governor’s Bungalow
This amazing white colonial building was taken into renovation to its original appearance of what it is now from nearly destruction. The 250 years old, former Danish Governor’s bungalow in Tranquebar was taken into restoration from brick by brick by the INTACH, holding up the building’s Madras terrace roof with great pride and poise. The building which is belong to the Tamil Nadu Tourism Department with the assistance from the Danish National Museum and INTACT restore the original structure, which melds colonial features with the local Tamil vernacular.

Red
Marrybrown ECR
Sometime before we checked the Marry brown restaurant on the ECR, near VGP golden beach, for some spicy and crispy chicken; and while waiting on car I find the facade of the building pretty in red to capture. Marry brown is not my favorite outlet for crispy chicken and we checked it for only couple of times before KFC open its outlet in our neighborhood close to ECR.

I also pass this invitation to 5 of my blogger friends for their participation:

A pet tag

Dear Anya tagged me just for a play. She is someone very sweet to tag me into this game and she has a beautiful cat named Kareltje, and her blog is almost about her pet and none can beat her in receiving awards from friends. Anya had brought her pet Kareltje’s picture on her tag post, so I thought to break the rules so that similarly I can also post our pet maya’s picture.

Thought the rules are to open your photo folder and select the 6th folder, and then select the 6th photo in that folder and post that photo along with the story behind it on your blog and tag 5 people.
The picture above is maya. The time I shoot this picture was about 8pm on a rainy day and u may think what her position stands for?

One thing I haven’t said before was, maya was a superb hunter of ants. Now u may know for what she is waiting near the door. Sometime ants used to enter our home in-between the gap of door and she would wait for them to arrive to catch and eat. One day a leech entered through the gap and maya seen it and started to bark aloud and before she catch we drew her away. From then on, she used to keep her face down near the door, so that she could catch anything that comes. But something opposite to that happened to her recently and what it was a leech had been biting her leg for sometime when we were in kodai and we only saw it later bleeding. Even couple of our family members got sucked by the leeches when we visited a pine forest.

These kind bloggers aim to find and be friends. They are not interested in prizes or self-aggrandizement. Our hope is that when the ribbons of these prizes are cut, even more friendships are propagated. Please give more attention to these writers! Deliver this award to eight bloggers who must choose eight more and include this cleverly-written text into the body of their award."

Random tag

Indian Myna

Brother Ghost Particle tagged me sometime ago to write 7 facts about myself... and I get to remain now!

1. I don’t remember many cell phone or landline numbers, except mine and home number. We always save the numbers in cell phone under there name, so we just press the names to call. I didn’t think actually what will happen if the cell phone is lost or struck somewhere in case of urgency to call someone out of home?

2. Ones I was dreaming at class when I was in 5th std, at the beginning stage of my disorder. I remember that sometime to think how it would be if whatever happening are to be a dream, I dreamed at my class and suddenly I awake to see I am still in my class room ;)

3. I don’t like using AC while travelling, except hefty unbearable heat. There is right reason for me to feel and wish for non-ac. I hardly get chance to go out, where I usually stable inside home, thus why do I need to keep myself within closed windows and most of the time I like going outskirt cities, so why does I want to be enclosed than breathing fresh or better air.

4. I hate buy money from anyone as a gift or presentation in showing or replacing there love and care as worth. Anything as love in few words and embrace expressed from heart is priceless compare to money. And I could not satisfy with money, without true affection within.

5. In school days I used to collect god pictures. In our class me and couple of boys have this practice and to see who collects more. Whether I hope or not, but thinking those days, it seems unconscious.

6. Ones participating in a cooking competition in school, where the preparation of fresh juice unexpectedly to pour nearly to someone’s push in desk. Unknowing to do, I filled the space with water and kept to taste by ma’ma and sure in unsavory her words amused me.

7. I don’t like listening music through headphone connected with any device. I feel it disturbs mind and radiate varies intense. Mostly I love listing through speakers (not much louder like disturbing others), where it indirectly derive into ears and it convince me in quality of sounds.

#The picture clicked one morning when this myna bird was calmly waking on the compound. After seeing it I like to drop some grains on wall and I begin to look earlier and evening for anyone’s arrival. These days I see white cranes landing and driving from the empty foreground filled with water.
