Veg Point

We often check the Veg Point less than a km from home, sometime, while return home or going to Thiruvanmiyur beach, we get something to eat here… I like parotta and dosai from this tine restaurant or fast food center or whatever we name is delicious. For my brother, veg pulave and panner fried rice are favorite dishes from this center and it’s really interesting to watch how they prepares the fried rice by adding the ingredient that are kept ready already.
Sometime in morning dad get idiyappam from here along with sugar milk or kuruma it taste something nice and eating one vada will fill the stomach so as will be its size… Sometime coming out in evening we have our coffee here and there’s another place I like visiting to get a good coffee is Visranthi in Besant Nagar. Parking opposite to the shop we get a drive-in feel of eating from the car and have the hot bonda in evening is nothing to say about… I just like it a lot.

I badly miss the Woodland’s drive-in restaurant in Chennai which is now the Semmozi garden has always remind in mind and tongue for its feel of being among woods and resonant of chipping birds and the odour of earth if it rains is awesome… the crispy dosa which is renowned here is always my favorite and the puffed puri with potatoes is another combination worked well for me.

Deiva Thirumagal

Based on a strong emotional bond between a mentally challenged father and his 5 year old daughter, the movie enhanced in splendid acting from Vikram as a 7 year old mindset brought exactly on screen. Deiva Thirumagal – holy angle, is seldom to Tamil cinema coming out from the director Vijay’s innovation perhaps is a experience of smart innocent irreplaceable by any other actor except Vikram in lead.

The movie comes out as a refreshing to audience as once in a while rainbow, touching deep in heart feeling how wonderful our artiest are at phase bringing emotions real on screen isn’t a delight without the sophisticated directors and actors. As a message of love, courtesy and grace the movie embraces the beauty in presence of cute expressions and the camera captures everything in delight so well natural and meld with settings.

To say about Nila particularly, she is such an adorable child artist unique in smile and visage; perceived the character well and expressed beautifully. Like a second hero on the second half, Anushka stressed her vigor to unite the separated father and daughter as a junior lawyer, goes against the undefeated senior lawyer (Nazzar) is a challenge that ends with emotion defeats ethics.

The conversation gesture between the father and daughter at the court room is a best emotion ever seen on screen, is unique which moved me a lot going through a sense which inexpressible. The humor part of the movie wasn’t great but little bit innocent is lovable… and the fun part happens when Krishna (Vikram) search for his friends in the hotel lobby.

Every other character in the movie helps to build the mound and Amala Paul as a bond corresponded, her attitudes towards the child is an example I wish everyone follows so. The songs doesn’t outstanding here since it goes off adjacent with the scenes, the silence impress in background where no scoring exists. The story telling song could have been composed better in picture and Vizhigalil Oru Vaanavil (a rainbow at vision) is quite poetic and adorable.

Deiva Thirumagal – is unique to Tamil cinema, derives people to theater!

180 – No rules

Watched this beautiful movie named Nootrenbadhu (180) last evening in drive-in with my uncle and cousin since parents doesn’t show interest on this movie, the theater was empty within fingers count of vehicles. The movie’s plot wasn’t unusual to Tamil cinema, which I don’t like to enter, but has a modern way of viewing with stunning visuals and enhanced love scenes.
Kickoff ashore of Varanasi, the visuals began to behold with some sophisticated slow motions is a techno- treat which continue to behold by various aspects till the end, captures happiness, fun and flirting amusingly that almost take place in the first half bears pieces and bits at rear. Holding the suspense till partially after the interval doesn’t emphasis unexpectedly but without touching deep in emotions the movie keeps moving in a hope unlike any other movies that end with regret.

The 180 – symbol of days, revolves around Siddharth, who break the rule in Boys stunts now there is no rule via reentering into Tamil cinema after his debut. He looks very smart and acts indeed well, expressing his emotions are good at phase except somewhere overrules and without a guess what his next move was. The movie has two cute heroines – Nithya menen and Priya Anand, gets our attention next to the visual enchanting and there each gesture expresses sweetness and every move has been captured lovely into the frame.

The director being an expert in Ad film making has made the movie without losing the prettiness on screen but at many places his ad sense arise away without logic which is similar to almost fairy tale advertisements. The concept behind the 180 days of rejuvenate is a good decent entertainment and enjoying the day today life is what many younger’s dream of today has well portrait even the reason has been different, and least flashback is the pulse of first half.

The sequence of songs has been captured in a remarkable way of appreciation and the no rules song is a great challenge to cinematography and composition of the song. The other one which is very sweet among them was Nee Koorinal… which is one of a best romantic songs so far has been captured very beautiful unlike ever. I just love this song for its adorable music and love expressiona… Niyayam Thana is too good! 180 – Behold everything beautifully but lacks to hold everyone’s attention.

Sony, the sound of music

The electric which goes off often these has gone immense without a limit and extends beyond the scheduled times has become a challenge for everybody and the worst thing was as it goes away at mid-day when heat waves fold away. People believed the new government will solve this problem as soon it take oath, but whoever forms the govt. could not do anything unless wind blows, rain stores the reservoirs or plants produce high electric.

Its sorrow to see people suffer from power outage and its wonder how some act like that only now it’s getting hot and experiencing a summer for the first time that heading out home or the a/c room will burn into ashes. I’m not against people getting comfort from a/c rooms and getting cool themselves from summer heat but speaking without sense struck me hard as if they are the only survivors in this universe and those works for sum under the scorching sun will do with no option to survive.

Ok. Come to the post, it’s a dream come true for me after days or years of waiting for a best sound system that could content my heart listening to music and watching movies. It’s more than a decade I went to an enclosed theater where sound quality would be best at experiencing a quite movie but being a regular visitor to a Drive-In theater was not that greater to say about sound except good viewing at our leisure.

I always believe Sony is the best for music and so brought a home theater with lot of expectation that could meet my LED TV and satisfy me in various forms in which getting a best sound system and easy to control which has never become balanced so far. The new DVD Home Theater (DAV-TZ210) was the least cheap and best product from the Sony connects almost all digital devices which response in high definition and controls all connectivity in one remote.

I’m overjoyed by the product and listening to my favorite music and songs sounds so good and best at tempo and clear bass discovers many hidden species so far appears nothing and I haven’t checked with movies yet the installation has not done, the system is waiting for the company guys to demo and arrange the speakers. I connected few speakers and woofer with the help of mum and wonder how would it sound if surround speakers installed at its position. Awe... I am so happy with it and enjoying one of my passions for music and cinema.

KO - my view

Being a cinematographer himself has taken the photo journalism as the plot for his movie KO; K.V. Anand had directed a superb movie where I could see similar thoughts and dreams take stage on screen. As a believer in young people could change anything, with their tireless, energetic and exuberant I could follow my dream until the climax where things change with intend to end the story. Many scenes reflect what is in my mind and the camera played an important role rolling parallel to the fast track screenplay and discloses the media’s interface in bringing change in society.
As a photo journalist, Jeeva had a wonderful opportunity to play an ever powerful role as a smart hero with an introduction by chasing a tempo traveler to shoot the photos of the bank robbers and further blocking their progress, was a fantastic action scene could easily challenge the Hollywood. I think there couldn’t be a perfect time to release the movie which revolves around the media and politics what played a revolution recently in the rule of TN. The media had been portrait well and its importance and risk involved in collecting news and producing the result give an idea how things happen.

Ajmal in a young leader character who want to bring change into politics resemble how someone would be in near future if youngsters enter politics and rule the govt. Not to forget the two sweet and cute heroines, Piaa and Karthika – the daughter of latter heroin Ratha, wasn’t just pretty, but exhibits really good expressions to be real in acting and cheerful in songs. The Piaa was as sweet as pie and best suited for a girlfriend character that anyone would like to have one alike her.

A movie from a cinematographer turn director doesn’t need a thing to say about how picturization would be, it was fantastic and outstanding. The song related sequence and actions are excellent and capturing exotic locations esp. the places around the cliff of Prekestolen of Norway for songs are fabulous and treat for eyes. To say about songs and music, it’s rare to come across a whole album which quite delights and to become all my favorites. To watch a decent political related feature and to experience the worth of delight in photography, KO is recommended.

The title slides resemble the flicker stream! I watched the movie yesterday at a night show in Drive-In.

Payanam (Travel)

Did a night Payanam (Travel) to drive-in, to watch the movie based on plane hijack which no more different or usual from the various movies released across overseas on this genre landing the Tamil cinema on a newer platform. Only few movies standup to its expectation and I no more expect anything from this movie, except hoping it would be a simply nice movie.
Radhamohan, the director of late Mozhi and Abhiyum Naanum has live up to his chance to showcase his talent in creating the screenplay does a different patrol around the hijack venue disclosing a exuberant flight with an entertaining process. The movie has no songs is the pulse point of this serious joyous and diplomatic action movie revolves in and around the plane which gives an idea about traveling in it

Almost all characters shares the journey does a vital role in leading the movie led by Nagarjuna as commando and Prakashraj as security official enhance the audiences with vibrant action and comedy impact with renewal of small scale attacks and heroic act by commandos. The screenplay was interesting perhaps no boredom to defeat even the situation where familiar to obvious the sense has been different by ploy and incorporate climax.

Moreover the movie is an entertainment pack with extensive reliable aspects to accommodate the movie as also a commercial success to be balanced among audience. The cinematography was excellent in promoting the flight journey and neatly captured the smart hijack which is more or less gracious. The commando activities are superb and Nagarjuna was befit to the character in an elegant role is yet set to go another round in Tamil cinema.

Payanam is a pleasant journey to be laid as one of milestones in Tamil filmdom.

Semmozhi poonga

Things changed certain to close the Woodlands Drive-in couple of years back to create a botanical garden in its premises after the lease to run the restaurant comes to cease and hold on to horticultural department. It was a surprising shock for many similarly to give away their favorite place to check with flavor and favor among woods amid the concrete jungle of metropolitan.
Semmozhi poonga
I visited the woodlands at last to meet a blog friend and it was a memorable one and could be easily remembered for been wandering among woods in wheels after years become immobile and staying within cars to enjoy my favorite crispy Dosai which I miss very badly these days. Even though we were partially happy about the decision taken by govt. to create a botanical garden for chennaities like the many other tourist places holding an attraction, I was half minded to give away the only restaurant I visit and the playground and the pony ride I enjoyed as a child.

The Semmozhi Poonga (garden) which represents the woodlands today attracts many people and I was among them to check it on a schools holiday which was much crowded to view completely or quiet minded. Just thinking to do another visit to the garden sooner or later, it has a wonderful archway to welcome with lust green walls of various species of plants and mound, with bamboos roof was the main attraction to the garden.
Barrel cactus
The children were standing in uniform to get the tickets to enter the garden that floors beautifully in titles and fountains sprinkling water followed by stone slapped pathway that makes a hard and rough ride for my wheels throughout the garden. There are some beautiful arch passages that built with bricks and planks that make visitors to take elegant photographs out of it and in front of the information center there is thorn balls called Barrel cactus placed on pebble pots.

The garden offers plenty of herbal, aromas, crotons and flowering plants that belong to 500 categories of species and 80 more trees that are already exist as woodlands in which some are more than 100 years old. The playground is filled by children whose hustle bustle activities enhance the garden to some extend and the flowering plants that conceal in the shades of nets craves to captures by the cameras enhance.
dry cascade
The cone like orange flowers were pretty and many species got its sign boards to identify the names and arranged in various shapes and circles across the garden with pebbles creating a pretty sight. The rocks are used well to create an interesting cascade which doesn’t give us a pretty sight since lack of water and the ponds and canals were also sludge and sluggish where gooses were wandering simple since clearing process was going on.
Garden fountain
The garden has beautiful green lawns and ponds and fountains adding pretty much, and besides being nearby Anna flyover the interior garden has some quietness (even it’s crowded) and eye catching spider lilies to adorn the banks of pond and the fountain amid them could seize ones present. The lawns greeting in green wants anyone to roll or least move into it but people are warned by guards to not keep off-track from pathways which annoys somehow means couldn’t stop to appreciate the effort taken on it.
purple fountain
What’s worth about the garden was its color changing fountains that delights after dusk and there are two more differentiates in it and one among them was the rising sun fountain, which resembles the ruling party’s emblem. The garden also own a amphitheatre to conduct concerts and public festivals, which also acts as a public get together for fun like gesture and chitchat with friends sitting around the gallery under the fencing trees. The most welcome move was its ramp facilities wherever need to climb, but what anxious was its uneven pathway that caution slippery.

There are wooden bridges too to cross the canals and over the garden has touched varies forms into it to make certain a standard garden and get listed as one important place to check within Chennai. Somehow it looks artificial if not there wood-lands!

Aadukalam (playfield)

Based on the story of traditional cockfight the movie has some enchanting moments of cock fights which causes an excitement about which one defeats other. The first half carried off through the competitions between two cock fighter teams involving traditionally into the plot once got vigor to clash with cocks to showcase who’s is top in this prior and one end up winning the match with an envy within themselves which crack up in the next half with ego, jealous and provoke to rule the field.
There is no better field to showcase this south Indian traditional game that nearly belongs to Madurai and the Aadukalam had done something to the dying game to cause an interest and deliver a special feeling for cocks. Danush as one who let go cocks into the cockpit had well suited the roll except for his low voice modulation and unclear dialogue which seems necessary for his character to drop us in need and Tapsee as his girlfriend light the movie through her appearance which seems somewhat shady. Anywhere she resembles latter heroines of Mumbai.

I must say something about the director Vetrimaran who interests me through his speech in a talk show and the way he picks up the plot was very different and I liked his latter movie for using a Bike (Bajaj Pulsar) as a main asset and holding the cockfight this time he resembles again being distinct. Except couple of identified faces many characters portray the essence of nativity and esp. the old man who renowned as Vettaikaran (hunter) does a great job supporting the suspense (even apparent) till last and arrogant become very nature to him.

To talk about songs and music, it comes along the movie wherever it needs and doesn’t take part particularly the movie to boredom or slow pace. The Yathea yathea song was lovable while listening... The background score for certain moments are superb and cause an energy perhaps the effort taken for cockfights which somehow seems like graphics was the best part of the movie and we couldn’t appreciate quite which has its part of discrimination and unfair feeling among characters dilute consequence.

Perhaps the movie is a welcome move towards south with a caught of cockfights and the treatment given to it to the outcome result which means something... The government has restricted these cockfights certain and a proper permission is request to hold it despite the aggravations comes from those working against animals being agonizing.

Easan – ill favorable

Sasikumar’s Easan has spotlighted a part of city’s night life that revolves around night clubs, pubs and restaurants and how some today youngsters taking over the advantage of being trendy. Though the movie is based on revenge it has more to grasp on city life and the unchanged view of village life that access net and computer and the usual politicians ruling the police.

Samuthirakani as a police officer has performed well and his attitudes are reliable to be a right police man and the wrong politician (AL Azhagappan) has a bright future depend on his acting alike a wise artist, he shows a live performance of seeing a serious politician. The young boy who took over the revenge done an excellent joy and expressed on purpose but what strike me was giving the axis to a school boy is not a good idea to say about to a society and we didn’t expect a movie from the director-producer who created Pasanga to nation proud.

The movie is not coming under any genre as it has blend everything as a movie to run more than a three hour moving like a tele serial. The movie is a media player for many people who sleep before a world wake up to dance in mid-night and destroy in seconds and how the trendy people develop an anchor in the mind of civilians who innocently caught into a wrong fashion or passion to become destroyed.

The trendy people are all not good and bad, but its richness and money power that change their costume as well as their attitude without working or thinking about future what their father will take care of. Today the education and profession has given opportunity to taste the international trend, but we are not to fall totally into an awesome culture and develop a siren against our very own which is still praised by everybody. The movie is a right indication of wrong attitudes of people.

Wishing everyone a bright, happy and elegant New Year! Good bye 2010

Enthiran, the mass fiction!

After a month it releases, I watched Enthiran yesterday in the crowd less drive-in. When the movie was announced I was thinking then will it be a quite superstar movie or shanker’s science fiction, but almost it was a move gives importance to science and technology in shanker’s style and least scope for superstar to showcase his usual mass buildup.

The movie begins with no similar demonstration or huge fanfare following things to promote the actor or director’s kind of act. It’s new to a superstar movie to being simple cool in light blue. First impression is the best impression they would say, but I was slightly disappointed by the lack of contrast level on screen and comedian Karunas and Santhanam to go serious look. The comedy sucks with two good ones.
I couldn’t merge both superstar and the robot is one man in real and both characters stands separate on screen is pulse. The Robot Rajini impresses a lot and the strain the character could carry is obvious even still there’s lot of graphics. Aishwarya rai is very pretty cool in songs and love scenes those are least fraction. Irumbila oru Idayam and Arima arima songs are very well related to story and sequence and thus follwing songs Kaadal Anukkal and Kilimanjaro are forced into the subject. Thought nice with unique views and background!

Looking for logic in a fantasy movie is an immense deceives, but still there was something dashing at the end of robots destruction. There are many unbelievable facts on robots and abundant shapes and size for Tamil fans through graphics and mechanics. The end of robot was least fade with sorrow and the message was super.

Reading a blog related to the movie, I thought anyone could do a movie like this with foreign technicians and studious and it would be a movie similar to Hollywood. Then how come we say we had done something different and new? We could be glad if we had done this with our genuine technology and geniuses, who are very goes from here. Btw. Enthiran is an excellent movie to showcase the pride of Tamil cinema, with lots of uncertain and alien contribution.

#The post is about the Tamil movie Boss ‘n’ Baskaran, which is quite entertainment I watched last evening in Drive-in theater.

Madrasapattinam

The first thing that caught my mind was it was like titanic, where an old woman narrates her past memories and seek to relieve and reconnect her emotions. Among the young generation film makers, director Vijay did a fantastic movie with late independence struggle, love and action in a tremendous backdrop of madrasapattinam which transferred into Chennai today.

It was a lovable love story across the Madras Presidency and Amy’s each and every expression is impressive and adorable! Arya’s role as dhobi, befit the character as a valor and showcase fondness through his eyes. Except the romance, action and protest, there’s so much to observe about our late city. The Buckingham canal, the central railway station, the dhobikhana, Spencer and some more comes as an elegant to eyes. The cinematography is fantastic; it captured something that when we aren’t belong to the scene or seen through pictures.
No words to appreciate the music composer GV, the music was such amazing and stands as a great pillar to the picture. Every song has to be mentioned separately and the composition of western classic seems awesome and I wonder every time listening to the album. Meghame song has a charm of droplets dropping on us and the beats are foot tapping. The quite clouded sky and the blowing wind and sounds are adding pleasant to the then pristine Chennai.

To complete the form, two more characters did there best and among them the late Cochin Haneefa’s one-liners are amusing. It’s sad to miss someone who is well at character and comedy, which comes naturally to him. The British officers ruled the whole; the wresting and chasing scenes are interesting. Should appreciate the courage of director for using British language most of the places under sub-title, though it wasn’t difficult to understand.

Overall the movie was refreshing from the usual Tamil cinema and gives way to decent movie making. I like Vijay’s previous movies and they are quite neat and feel so good. Nice to see such movies to keep stand the Tamil cinemas from hero based movies, and gives important to art, technology and new idea.

Yesterday it was like singing ‘rain rain go away, come again another’ but where does it listen? It poured heavily and disturbed the movie watching at drive-in. It only works out in movies and nature has no man power to control. Oh!

Raavanan – the movie

Thinking it would be a lengthy movie, we headed fifteen minutes before the show time, but they stated only half an hour later. Thinking silly had they postpone the show or inadequate of current, since every lights are on and speakers tuned western, I wonder when the movie going to end, before it started.
Thinking about the movie and the hype and music that enhance the ears after many listening; the movie begins with the caption was just threatening and create excite accomplish by bang music. As the movie’s progress is well presumed refer to the title and media, the relish is little missing.

The movie revels outstanding in visual performance, which is the highlight of the movie and for this at least one should watch in theater.

Mani’s movies always lead confusion and unchanged attitude in dialogue delivery is one thing I don’t like his movies and thus in many places conversations lack understanding. Vikram has been used well in this movie, and his character of being a bravo tribe hero sense familiar but thought it’s completely belong to him alone and no one could replace his character.

Aiswariy rai is lovable as usual and through her stunning performance she astonish. I think anyone could do her role, but I doubt could anyone domain like her in exposure and thus I guess it is her beauty. Whereas the concern is expected between vikaram and prithive raj, the every other characters doesn’t seems or get importance. Prithive raj is perfect in appearance to match aiswariya and being a smart cop his role replaces the fury on his face.

Like never before, the athirappali falls in kerala is well captured in detail along the stunning leap and climb by the lead. Its adventure throughout, with no deep sense behind the tribal fight and a strong reason to kick start the fire. Like the most look after scene, the acrobatic stunt at the hanging bridge is just amazing! I was surprise to see the cenotaphs of Orchha that I lately learn in Rajesh’s post took screen in flashback.

The climax was realistic and left in a wonderful silent off the valley. The nature that exists throughout the movie is mist bound bliss. Raavanan – it’s a complete movie keeping away the commercial commitments.

Angadi Theru – a walk into the street!

There’s nothing majestic to say about this movie, but it’s all about love at new site (plot) and reflection of existing life. Angadi Theru – the shopping street, bring back those memories of walking back into Ranganathan street in T.Nagar. The street being famous with chennaities exists like shopping means Ranganathan Street!

The movie discloses the concealed life behind those immense stores. It’s obvious the movie indicates the Saravana store and many other stores that bring youngsters from their native homes to employ in support there state and lives, but there are some unknown facts such as endurance are exposed here behind the joy of purchasing.

It seems like the director has taken the story from the common occurrence. The all new faces and being non famous keeps away the thought of watching a movie and characters performance is very practical and though enjoyable through comedy section – Black Pandi of kanakanum kalangal does a fabulous job, and emotion over the imposed inhuman on workers and treating them like prisoners.

Whether it’s true or illusion it’s hardly believable that slavery still exists. It’s a trend that directors turning villain these days and A. Venkathesh has the stubborn face and does worth bad supervisor being called as ebony. The lead pair is adequate to the story and looks fresh like a bloomed flower, and since it’s their debut they’re well introduced already in a different aspect.

The songs are sure to ring for long esp. Aval Appadi Onrum… is very pleasant and simple in lyrics. The Kadhaigalai Pesum… is simply rejoicing to sense adding Benny Dayal and Hamsika in sweet vocal. These are my favorite songs and often murmuring it now. Every song stands for something renews and I understand the worth of music thus created by two music directors together.

The director has observed little things well. The railway crossing incident and the vehicles run over those roadside sleepers are among those so realistic and recall the late incidents. The rubber ball cricket in village, the true taste of strawberry, the self employment of a toilet cleaner and destruction of true love are so real. I always expect the director to do more films as he touches realistic and captures the true happiness and sorrow we lost in logic. The late Album and Veyil of Vasanthabalan are my favorites, and Kadhal vaanoli… is a song from album, I badly miss and keep searching for long.

Angadi Theru, has something touching along the end, but a nice ending at busy street.

A bit something

Tuesday was dad’s birthday and we went out for dinner, collecting food stuff from hot point and headed to beach. Wind was blowing well and sea gleaming with ships; it was pleasant moment we four of us shared the night together after long time.

The sea side wasn’t much vast empty and few street lights were out of focus, and the waves reflect clearly, and stars blinked brightly and a flight was passing across. We were till 10.Oclock at beach and dad been forgetting his birthday and since remind by noon, he wishes at least to take us out for dinner. Brother being a vegan, we can’t visit KFC or Food village in ECR what was in our mind then.

Unlike the treat in Hot Chips, ECR with favor and nothing more savor on the arrival of new Scorpio last month, it was sharing; love and nature embrace us more now. Moreover the roadside vendor or hot points round table, nothing deserves the flavor of closed woodland’s drive-in near Anna flyover. The evergreen trees and chirping birds and spacious car parking could never be replaced by any modern restaurant or drive-in or fast food.

Thinking about those days, whether it was hot and crisp dosai or puffed poori, still the blowing wind has the essence of woodland and the aroma comes over the air.

VTV - My view

I don’t know which one to take and leave, there might be some ups and downs, but it was a lovely ride across the sky. VTV (Vinnai Thaandi Varuvaayaa) is a very beautiful poem written by Gowtham, and Simbu does a very decent proposal whereas Trisha comes as an angle with cute smile and freak in sari.

The highlight of the movie is songs and pleasant picturesque. The love come romance between the lead was soothing and does some magic in imagination. Should appreciate the background scoring, that pass like a breeze in an undisturbed manner, and just not being vocal, I wonder sometime does someone parked next playing there audio of the same movie songs. Leaving mom at home, me and dad watched the movie in drive-in.

It was against feeling, wishing for songs to keep flowing more than the sequence, and so as the songs influence the movie. I loved the quietness of the movie, and the simple action and screenplay, describes a familiar story in an unusual manner. There’s a small distraction on simbu’s face, at some places it clearly says the huge makeup and obviously he’s very smart in his original tone. I then thought, why dint I continue to be a simbu fan?

There’re mild moments to laughter and to wonder how come a busy cameraman simply follows Simbu in seeking Trisha across the Alappuzha. The white church on bank ashore and the houseboats and river are evergreen blue wonder. The gentle kiss and intense love, embrace the audience to fall in love and like the line says, love is not we go in seek, and don’t leave love that come across u.

Goa – the movie!

Alike the name, Goa is fun, bold and beautiful!

There’s no hard sentiment or serious action, the story moves in aim of aimless that almost happy going moments.

The songs are very colorful in picturesque and enthusiastic in a mix of western, folk and melody. I love Idhu Varai (something familiar I feel) and the Goa.

The main characters have a brief time and everyone gets chance to express there characteristic.

Must appreciate director to capture the gay relationship in a decent manner and the jack (Sampath) acts very sweeter and thus it doesn’t took much space for good.

The movie that blows village scent at beginning recalls karakattakaran, and the panjayath moment is one of the funnies in many.
Piya is very sweet and cute in all the three heroines and to wonder where hides this stylish and glamour’s Sneha these years. Lovely

Everyone looks very different and new, except the unchanged face of villages and restrictions, that seems very boring.

The background scoring is fantastic; Vaibhav’s vocal is something different and funny.

The white girl’s expressions, vocal and smile are very pretty.

There is an expectation from Venkat Prabhu after Chennai 28 that he will give a very different movie, far away from others, which will give much importance to entertainment and fun in a way.

After long time we went to a night show in drive-in, as I don’t want to miss the movie thus it was the last show in the drive-in due to release of Asal on Friday. On Wednesday we checked for an evening show, but the timing wasn’t changed from the previous shows kutty and so turned home.

Btm. More than fun, its funny - Goa!

Kanthaswamy – colorful!

Even though I wasn’t well enough, I don’t want to miss watching Kanthaswamy – super hero! Here go few things about the movie.

The movie is a wonderful fantasy and similar to Hollywood super hero movies like Spiderman, Superman… and unlike these fantasy icons, our super hero Kanthaswamy helps people in need, by getting money from rich and distribute to poor.

The first thing that impressed me was cinematography! Every frame has something to admire. The songs are fantastic and very colorful to rejoice.

The director has handled the story very interesting. The series between Shyria and Vikram are hot and sweet. The costumes used by them are very trendy, similarly presented them as showcase dolls. Good opportunity for Shyria to showcase her mass and acting.

Just like passing clouds, music sprinkles unbound! Guess none needs knowledge to enjoy music and the songs in this movie makes this certain.

Something that pulls me back is the cause said to inspire isn’t strong enough in flashback and the mess-up comedies.

Glad dialogues haven’t go pages, its simple shot and sweet. But there are some complain from elders that conversation isn’t obvious.

The color tones used for Mexico and other few places are amazing. The golden grasslands and the following action scenes are great indeed! The setup of the CBI office and cat song displaces grand setting. Technically the movie leads Tamil cinema in quality and one should watch this movie in theater to get wonder and amuse.

Cheran’s treasure – remarkable!

Last week I watched Pokkisham (treasure), and I was convinced not to miss this movie and it was the last day of the movie to be screen on the only theater I could visit – The Drive-in. I avoided reading reviews and except preview, I went to watch the movie just like that and impressed upon the emotions, the value of communication, beautiful composition and cinematography. Here I like to share my view on the movie that moved me.
The movie revolves almost around 70’s and makes certain the feel of those days, I wasn’t exists. Even the story was simple; the screenplay bears much emotion, expressions of love and great patience of post letter transmission. Lately we never aware much about the importance of writing letters to someone and waiting for days to get replay. In just few click we pass our message to one at some corners of this world today, with advance technologies like internet, emails, SMS… and cell phones have become an integral part of our lives and thinking back becomes lesser these days. Must appreciate director Cheran’s cause, to bring back those days to sense and makes us think how precious waiting means and writing a letter from our heart.

We need more patience to watch the movie, since it moves snail pace and gives much time to experience the sense. Cheran has understood only with love, certain sense of oldness can be felt and explains the only communication via post those days, other than rare dial telephones. He disclosed the letters between two hearts and says more than hi, how r u, there is so much to develop the relationships by encouraging good thoughts and human sense and rights. Since letters rule the movie, the postal service and post boxes deserve there best approval. In love cheran holds umbrella to the post box and following postman, to check his letter is on progress to its destination are significant even it seems poetic and funny.

Many scenes have been shot in Kolkata; the hand pulling rickshaws are remarkable to the movie, replacing oldness along with bull carts and moped used by cheran. I wonder every time looking at Padma Priya’s expression inside the closed curtain and I look in disbelief, how many beautiful and intelligent visages must be hidden within many curtains of Muslim women. Unaware myself, I get little anger on the community to make certain, women are within intense religious belief and suppress there freedom to chose their carrier. Somehow the movie comes closer that more than belief, it’s regarding human being… but later failed to be constant.

The Nagore and sea shores are well captured and the beautiful visage of Padma Priya composed in a song via nature, where cheran travels in a bus is pretty adorable. Keeping away the violence and hatred, they have shown emotional pain and suffer in love, the beauty of blooming hearts, where alike butterflies flapping wings. The shore knocked boat, cheran’s single cot room and the way letters penned down and the silent expressions are way to romance. The title names that falls on the pictures that treasure early Chennai and Kolkata, is one worth befit to the movie.

At last everything says the song NIla Nee Vaanam Kattru… quite treasure!
