Endless envelopes 

unfolded, as I watch waves 

sent out peace message 

P.s. The picture shot at Palavakkam beach in neighbourhood during a visit last week and the haiku was inspiring on the spot. 

Hi Fi (high fly)

Up in the air, birds

flying aloft kindle man

to fetch wings to fly

Touch-me-not

Was fondled to whine 

stretching arms together, she 

confined further touch. 

Green Hearts

Heartins grown in green

spreading the love like a vine

climbing on the tree.

Corporation road 

turns yellow carpet, as spring
 started to flourish.

Though its few ten feet 

a pleasure to walk past since

summer isn’t away 

While dry leaves make way

the cheerful yellow blossom 

draw wither season.

Ps. The haiku is an inspiration from the photo i shot during a evening walk (in wheelchair) last week.

Fiction

Alike a cradle
rather strings attached, secures
the moon across sky

That’s calm and uncool
was haunted by bats, trying
to battle down moon.

In the twilight hour
waked up from asleep, the bats
influence fiction.

Light and Life

My sky turned darker
power goes off as common
but yet I delight.

Minutes some to sleep
like a led bulb, blinks the bum
to grab attention

Possibly its mate,
the firefly come by window
to ensure we sleep

Perhaps, none notice
the intimate that let glow
their instinct within.

In enclosed wood-house
it’s a behold sight through pane
let me detect life.

Hunt for life

Sailed miles overseas
via scorching sunshine, and
thunderstorm menace

Reaching ashore, we
decided to stroll the beach
departing the boat

Tracked the foot imprints
in isolated island,
we hunted for life.

Lighthouse

A lighthouse flashes

ray of hope for anything

afloat in the sea. 

Haiku Moon

Against the blue sky

though not yet fully flourished

outshines the night moon.

Pretty earlier

a faculty to arrest

before night warrant. 

Christmas Haiku

Winter cold wraps me
while I dream snow home alone
deck my Christmas tree

There’s festive in air
bells ring loud to motion wind
stars shine unco bright.

Reflection

A bubble
breathes for a brief
like a fish out of water.

Reminds,
how colorful our world
being a transparent globe.

Like a projector
 reflects creative lights
using its thin layer of film. 

Firefly

A firefly
flies across night sky
burning its bum

Triggering a light
enough for
invisible particles

Following its flight
is a real life fantasy
and indeed fun.

Footnote:

I had a wonderful time watching the fireflies during my stay in Thandikudi - a village on the Palani or Kodai Hills, last month. We spent a whole evening and night without power but had fun time with cousins and cool weather for comfort, we saw the fireflies flashing around us. I couldn’t remember when I saw the fireflies early but this time was memorable, having them closer, I wonder how much wondrous we miss by using spotlights everywhere hiding the magic that happens in darkness.

We tried to catch them, but they are on their ways across valleys and ridges, and following them is impossible.  So we stayed away admiring the beauty blink in darkness. 

Magic of rain

Magic of rain
in droplets grain
plays splash game.

On earth bed
it kiss and intimate
reducing innermost heat.

Droplets sperm
shatters everywhere
producing immense offspring.

Pearl

A droplet 

saved inside the heart
of a shelled mollusk.

Hope deliver
like a droplet sparkle
resting on soft petals.

Fabulous
how soft tissues
give birth to strong pearl.
