Days fully wetted flooded, where sun
in leave on sunday, monday
get off anytime, the unity of drops
are protesting in supporting our students
hot coffee to warm the energy, even
still feeling chillness lazily inside.
Distance covers by eyes, lesser
to the human movement less
without any day today, experiencing
the loneliness of sweetness
departed from human breath , natures
abode throughout happen in happiness.
Now and then, immersing the bank
standing sea rain water without kids to stand
staying in distress, whom the hell
the rain wants to come now, why not you
kids sing a song, rain rain go away
come again another day we kids want to play.

I can feel the chillness buddy. When I was a kid, I always used to play. That last stanza suits well for my kid stage.
Now, I always used to stay in home in holidays. Especially in rainy days, I need hot tea & I like to watch TV/chat with my family. U made me to remain all those things Jeevan....
So sad, now i was sitting in my office doing my work...missing all those fun...
Summer showers, welcomed with glee
Steaming coffee, and savory snack
Cuddle by the sill, watch passers walk
Ruthless downpour, oh! how we flee
Establishments closed, commuters stranded
Mercy! We plead, sunshine we seek
I read all about the abundant rainfall you are having.I hope it has cleared up a bit. Love this poem also.
GP – Thank you buddy :) ya it was not that much in Chennai, but suburbs and southern districts face troubles of floods.
Kalai – everyone likes to play in rain. That was an evening at marina beach where more waters and no kids to play. A warm thing in rain is an welfare totally. Thank you friend.
